A New Order!

After being one of the most requested features for a while, this version of Leap Habits finally introduces custom habit ordering. And it's available for everyone - even without Leap Habits Pro.

Simply tap "Sort and Filter" in the top right of the habits view, and choose 'Manual' in 'Sorting'. You can change the order in Settings -> Order Habits.

That's it. More exciting stuff coming soon.

This update fixes a bug, where the app could crash upon logging a habit.

New things coming soon!
2021.2
2021-03-08
Thank you to everyone who checked out Leap Habits’ in 2021 - the reception has been great! This version fixes a whole bunch of things and adds a brand new way for you to give feedback, so I can build an even better app for you.

Feedback
New in this version is the integration of FeatureCat, a service that lets you suggest new ideas and vote on planned features from right within the app. Simply head to ‘Settings’ (in the Add tab) and go to ‘Suggest & Vote on new Features’. I’m excited for what you’ll have to say.

Beta
I’ve been running closed betas for quite a while and they are invaluable for testing and feedback on new updates. Now you can sign up for the TestFlight Beta from right within the app. Check it out!

A bunch of smaller things have been fixed, like:
- Date display when going back in time in the main habits view
- Updated the display of the entries list
2021.1
2021-02-03
This is the first update in 2021 and it has been a long time in the making. In fact, I started working on it right after WWDC and all the way through the fall. The end result is something I'm incredibly proud of: Widgets, Shortcuts, a whole range of ne Pro features with an optional pro unlock. Check it out!

Widgets
Leap Habits now supports Widgets, introduced last fall with iOS 14. Check on your progress right from the home screen for one or multiple habits, or set up widgets to quickly log a new entry.

Shortcuts
The app now comes with full support for shortcuts on iOS. Automate logging your habits, or quickly get the status of a current habit. There is a Shortcuts menu in Settings that gives you a range of predefined shortcuts based on your current habits.

Leap Habits Pro
And lastly, the biggest new addition to Leap Habits is the new Leap Habits Pro, available as a yearly subscription or a lifetime unlock. Leap Habits Pro brings a whole range of extra features to the app, while all of the previous free features are still (and always be) free.

So what's included in Leap Habits Pro?
- Skipping habits: Keep your streak, even if you miss a day
- Custom colors: choose a color for your habits
- Habit groups: Have a lot of habits? You can now easily arrange them in groups
- Archiving: Once a habit has become second nature, simply archive it
- Custom units: steps, push-ups, squats - whatever you want to track, set a custom unit for it
- Privacy lock: Habits are deeply personal, so you can protect them with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode
- Alternate app icons: Choose from a variety of fun icons to bring some color to your home screen
- All Pro habits: if you unlock Leap Habits Pro, you automatically get access to all Pro habits.

Fixes galore
Apart from these major upgrades, this version also includes an abundance of little fixes and improvements. See if you can spot them all!

Thanks so much for using Leap Habits and I hope it helps you achieve your goals.

Introducing the Step Counter. Create a habit with a step goal that's automatically updated with the steps from your iPhone or Apple Watch. Now available for purchase in the 'Add'-tab.

This version of Leap Habits also comes with a whole bunch of smaller and bigger UX improvements. Browse through the app and see if you can catch 'em all.

You can now also select the day right in the 'Habits' tab. Perfect for adding yesterday's achievements. Simply tap the arrows or swipe to the side.

It also includes a bunch of smaller bugfixes. Deleted timers should no longer be sending notifications (thank you 'louis judas' for the hint).
2020.6.1
2020-07-19
This version of Leap Habits introduces Timers!

Timed Habits are available as an additional purchase in the 'Add'-tab. You can set individual time goals for habits, just as you would set regular goals. Give it at try.

New:
- Timed Habits: Create habits with a time goal and start/stop timers. Leap Habits will notify you if the time is up.

This is just a quick bugfix for 2020.6, which had an issue with displaying add-ons after purchase.

Improved:
- Charts now have an improved display of units, e.g. decimal places will no longer be displayed.

Fixed:
- In the habit detail view, text was sometimes cut off if it exceeded certain lengths. No more!
- Fixed an issue where the app might crash on launch if upgrading from a very old version due to migration issues.
2020.5
2020-07-08
- Fixed a bug where the app would crash on deleting a habit. DiffableDataSource to the rescue.
2020.4
2020-06-25
This update adds basic sorting and filters to the habits view - for those who have a lot of things to keep track of.

New:
- You can sort and filter your habits. Tap the organiser icon in the habits view and select your perspective.

Fixed:
- Fixed a few UI issues when switching from light mode to dark mode and vice versa.
2020.3
2020-06-23
This new version of Leap Habits adds a first version of reminders! No more breaking streaks because you forgot a habit - simply set reminders for any habit.

New:
- Reminders: Set daily reminders for any habit right in the habit's settings. Reminders show every day when the habit is not yet completed. More advanced reminders are coming in the future!

Improved:
- The Progress Screen now looks a lot nicer when no entries have been logged yet.

Fixed:
- The sorting of habits in the progress view now is consistent with the habits view.
- Large numbers now look have correct leading and trailing constraints.
- Reopening the app on the next days now shows more consistent streaks.
2020.2
2020-06-10
A little post-launch update to fix a couple of things:
- On re-opening the app, the Habits screen would sometimes show completions from the previous day and not update correctly. That has been fixed.
- When adding "completions" for previous days via the calendar view, '+1' and 'Complete' for binary goals don't make any sense when they coexist. So one had to leave.
- The left and right arrows above the calendar view now better reflect the available date range.
- Fixed an issue where on weekly and monthly habits, the app could crash on loading the chart view.
- Fixed a few visual inconsistencies.

Fumpus,
Free - Clean Interface
This app is actually one of a kind! I have been searching for excessive amounts of time for a competent free planner app, and this is it! A top tier planning app with bright colors and unlimited habits (for free) and customizable reminders and more. However, it would be nice to be able to be reminded multiple times for one habit, as, for example, if you have a goal to exercise twice a day, technically shouldn’t I be able to remind myself about it twice a day at different times? Maybe that is a feature that I have yet to figure out, since I am still relatively new to the clean, user friendly interface. All in all though, great job!
louis judas,
Love it and love the developers
Put in a review that I loved the app but i was still getting notifications for old habits.. Soon enough I got an email saying they’d have it fixed in their newest update :) I love how simple this app is and you don’t have to learn and get used to a bunch of crazy features. it’s straight to the point and has fun colors too.
Eyeless Fish,
Easy to use
I’m loving how easy Leap Habits is to use. It’s perfect for people with ADHD. I just wish I could group my habits into routines for free. I’m on a fixed income, so affording extra features is out of the question. But I still love the app.
Lil Matthias,
Pretty Solid App
This is a pretty good app for trying to keep up my habits. I’d like so see the addition of reminders for some habits however. For example, I have a habit for drinking 8 glasses of water throughout the day and it’s hard to remember to do all 8. So, I think it would be helpful to be able to set one or several reminders/notification alarms for habits.

Manual Sorting
I was really exited to see that manual habit sorting had been added in the last update, but I'm sorry to report that it just doesn't work. Trying to move a habit in the list causes the entire list to rearrange itself at random. Here's hoping it's an easy fix. 🥲
Oli15.3C,
Haven’t used it to it’s full potential
I recently downloaded the app and so far everything seems to be working fine. One minor concern. When I try to delete a task I had already started it would just kick me out onto my home screen. Little confused all in all seems like a decent legit app.
rvp59,
Perfect for those who can’t keep good habits
This app is simple yet powerful. It helps the most if you get specific about your goals and check it constantly
The one kid,
ALMOST Best Habit Tracking App
I say almost because of a couple reasons:

1. There needs to be the ability to have habits for specific days so the app can track them correctly, for example I wake up and run on weekday mornings but not on weekends.

2. A large lack of ability to organize your habits. There should be custom grouping and naming, to whatever the user may desire for whatever purpose.

Other than that everything is seemly, fluent, very straight-forward and uncluttered. You guys have done a very well job at creating this app. Kudos
JMannix3,
Almost perfect needs health app
Great app for tracking habits especially custom exercises like pushups but falls a bit short for other health habits. Would love to see connection to the heath app for tracking things like rings completed, miles run and teeth brushing.
Assefkeksmsbsjd,
Great App Does as Advertised
This is a great app and I’ll be using it whenever I’m trying to break/make a habit. Only reason it’s not 5 star is because you can organize the habits tab so it’s organized by date created
