Outstanding app
Having attempted a few languages I’ve found the best learning experience is immersion. Followed by some loss of skills post-immersion. Kind of like going swimming; I get wet, it feels good but I’m still not a fish. Once out of the water I dry off and leave the wetness behind.
With Drops, it’s more like a shower, refreshing, stimulating and quick. Now I’m clean, and ready for the day...but, I get to do it when ever I want. I’ll be taking a shower with DROPS every morning, it’s quick and I like the feeling when I’m done.

Makes vocabulary a game
I’ve been using the free version of this app for about two weeks and have already decided to purchase the lifetime subscription. I honestly found myself wanting to keep “playing” after the five minutes were up. It’s very simple and is a great way to supplement your vocabulary building while not getting bored at that sometimes dull task.

Too many errors!
This is specifically for the Esperanto version. Ive noticed the pronunciation is inconsistent with o’s a’s and e’s sometimes being mispronounced. A major bug that I’ve noticed recently is many of the spoken examples no longer even represent the word written before you. The picture may stay “mi tranĉas,” but what you actually hear is “mi tondas.” This seems to be the case with about a third of the vocabulary. There are better apps out there for language learning which will lead to less confusion. Additionally, I’m really disappointed because I actually purchased the premium version.

Learning without stress
After using them a while, learning with flash cards seems to get tedious and my mind starts wandering away from what I am trying to learn. With Drops, I wonder where the five minutes has gone. I like how the words have matching pictures. This makes it so much easier to remember the words when you see objects in real life.

Interesting concept for a language app
Already a good language acquisition app because of the simplistic animations and activities, but the compartmentalization of learning to a few minutes of a day is really an interesting turn on memorizing a language...I’d like to see how it goes in practice!

Creative!
I love the way that drops attempts to incorporate the language processing center of the brain with the visual and motor cortices, in a way that regular language learning apps don’t reach with simply typing phrases. The format makes the learning feel like a game, which makes for an intuitive app interface and makes the user want to return. The only downside is that Drops restricts usage to 5 minutes a day unless users pay to upgrade, which seems like a cheap move.

So Far a Great Sop
So far this is great, but the app cuts off your learning after five minutes unless you leave a review. Hence this review. I’m a little skeptical at this heavy-handedness. I might love this app or I might hate it...how can I tell after five minutes? So I’m giving it only three stars. (To be fair, the app cuts you off after five minutes but says you can start again in ten hours unless you leave a review.)

great application
taught me some words that duolingo didnt, its great for very specific words that you probably wont use but you know in english, a step to help you with more vocabulary. the only thing lacking with this app course is the travel talk section that appears in other languages, i like how i can set my native language as esperanto on the multi language app so itll give me a way to learn a new language while retaining the old. however i didnt know there was a travel talk section on the other languages because they dont have a translation to esperanto. that’s something i really hope will come soon, but anyway gpod work

Short and sweet
I love you learn a bunch of words in five minutes. Nice and easy and engaging way to learn vocab! One thing though is after a few days and many similar images it would be nice if it tested you on its meaning once in awhile because sometimes the pic doesn't really clue you in so great I remember the word with that pic but forgot it's meaning.
