Great for any beginner or traveler...
This app provides a nice overview of French and the format is easy and concise. Phrases are organized in lists according to topic and include French phrases paired with the English translation. Additionally, there is an audio recording with each list.

How do you pronounce month/mois? Common enough word it would seem. I realize that for $.99 there can't be a full dictionary, however, common words (month, lover, left, right) would seem basic...really helpful that hello & hi are included...
