Amazing app! Thank you!!
It’s an amazing app. I learned Chinese and so did my sister and brothers. I really recommend this app if you’re moving to China or if you just wanna learn Chinese. But, there is a thing I want fixed. I want the flash cards to be different, a way I can memorize it, I know you can say “Not remembered” or whatever, but it doesn’t really help me... also, I think the quiz should let you choose the number of questions you want, but give them some options. For example, 100, 50, or 20. I really love this app and it helped me, thank you so much!! But when I speak it randomly to my friends (through text mostly) they don’t even know what I’m saying, so I recommended this app to them 🤗. They loved it, and we practiced together. It’s a great way to bond with friends, siblings, or parents. Once again, I recommend this app if you’re tryna learn Chinese. Thank you and that’s all I really have to say!!
Fyre Rayne,
Better than most of the big names...
I love this app! The simplicity of the themes and ease of use are amazing. The ability to learn both the traditional and simplified characters within the app is more than I can do with some of the bog names. I have learned and RETAINED more using ChineseWords ChineseSkill. No matter what new app comes along that I try (and have paid for) I always come back to these two. I cannot recommend them enough.
Ethan VDP,
Could be better
This is a great app; it is easy to use and semi-customizable. The word choice has been very helpful as they chose words that are very common in everyday life (given I live in China). However, the biggest drawback for me is that you can't make decks of flash cards or customize what you are reviewing. It goes alphabetical only, which is great, but sometimes you want to work on a certain group, and you can't. I give it a 4, but I'd like to give it a 3.5. If you just want a basic vocabulary app, I'd still say this is the best out there.
awesomegirl12121,
A great app, but…
It’s a great app but it could be better if, like if you put you don’t know the word, instead of it repeating the word it could put it in a list of all the characters you did not know and you can go through those. You should also have a system when if you get it right in the game, you get 5 points. And you try and save up points for rewards or something or you could compare you’re points or score with other people that have this app

Amazing
Just as with the previous app, ChineseSkill, this new app is amazing. Not only are the graphics and design beautiful, the app has an awesome concept.

When I began learning Chinese I used the anki flashcards with their spaced repetition to memorize the characters, however I had to individually make the flashcards which took an enormous amount of time. This app is amazing because it has 5000 of the most common Chinese words built in with the spaced repetition system so I don't need to make my own flashcards anymore!

If you are looking to build your vocabulary, this is the perfect app for it. If you liked ChineseSkill, this is a great addition to your Chinese learning toolbox.

Thank you so much ChineseSkill team for creating this app! Keep up the work !
謝謝你們!
辛苦了!
加油!
Idontknowwhat to use,
This app is great!
I love using all three of the apps by this company, they are very easy to use. This is even better than quizlet for review I think and with the all three of these apps. I think I am learning much more then j would in any of the European languages I am learning in duolingo, and I have already learned and retained more than from my Chinese 1 class. Definitely would recommend!
Runrunlin,
Love it and one minor request
Both apps are amazing. The flash card one, when download to iPad, there is a setting "play audio before or after card" is half cut by another setting" download offline". So it can not be adjusted. If that can be fixed, really appreciate.

They are so good. I don't mind paying for those two apps.
Haowiemandel,
BEST app for learning chinese I've found so far
This app is amazing! I love how simple and quick you can learn Chinese in this app! And the flash cards and games are just plain awesome! I am half chinese and had always wanted to learn how to speak in it. As a beginner, I had much improved, and it's all thanks to this app!!! Thank you :)
Bundeslagrr,
Decent flash cards - goes with learning app
This app has slight issues with the switch between game and flash card modes. One shows you too much information - so you need to change the settings when switching between them. You also must get the Chinese Skills app that teaches you most of these words in sentences and in context. Good for free app - I'm grateful for it
CEIBS,
Exactly what I need
Being a fluent speaker and wanting to learn to read has been the biggest challenge. It is in some ways harder than learning a language from scratch. This app has the option to prevent me from "cheating" and using pinyin as a crutch, and really learning the words. Thank you!
