So far, so bad
I bought this to practice when I can’t lug my guitar around. I must say I was excited to get it. But as soon I connected to the app it was horrible. The volume on the guitar is super loud even when I turn it down it sounds distorted. The string sounds will resonate for a long time to the point that it drowns out the next chord you play. You can’t download a “normal” sounding guitar because they are all very electronic sounding and useless. Also the Jamstik+7 itself is very unresponsive and not natural feeling when you strum it. It will only pick up some strings and skip others. What a shame because I wanted to like it. It’s just unusable.

Bad UI and background battery drain
The UI needs an overhaul by an experienced iOS developer, but the major fault this app has it it drains battery in the background, while not allowing the user to disable background activity. It is probably doing this to allow sound to be produced while switching to other apps but after I had switched off my Jamstik the app drained the phone battery for another 19 hours according to the battery app. This type of background activity is not allowed and will get apps removed from the App Store typically. Please fix urgently.

A good utility, but could be improved
I’m using this app with the Jamstik Studio MIDI Guitar. The app serves its purpose to adjust settings, but the interface could be improved. Forced landscape orientation is really awkward, especially if you’re switching apps on the phone. It also inexplicably switches to portrait on the Edit Profile screen. It’d be nice to have a faster way to switch midi channels, like the shortcuts common on many midi keyboards. The other midi settings with -/+ adjustment work well.
I don’t use the app for the learning/practice portion, so I can’t comment on it.

Seriously?!?
The only button in this app that I can touch without it crashing is the profile button. That's just ridiculous. The jamstik is useless to me without the app. I know I could use my PC or possibly the Chromebook, but that's not the point. I bought it specifically to use with my iPad. The websites even all push for it to be used with iOS. It should work better here than anywhere else! With how much a jamstik costs, there's no excuse for this.

Oops Our Server....
Just installed the app and it won’t even start up for the first time stating an error message “Oops, our servers seem to be having trouble.” I was hoping the current negative reviews were bias but it appears they are accurate. Also having errors when attempting to install the macOS software too. For such an expensive piece of rig, I’m sure having a rough time with the software working on the first day. :/

Bring back the old app this one doesn’t work
This app is pretty horrible it doesn’t work with my Jamstik +. The mute button doesn’t work the guitar strings substantial long it’s just horrible. The old app works much better it’s just that I cannot download sounds

I jus downloaded this app to use with the jam stick my husband got for Christmas works really well and has a nice user interference I am using it in my iPad Air 4

The old app was way better as a trainer to learn guitar. I wish the would change back or at least do updates to make this more user friendly.

This can be a great tool
If and when it works. All of the comments are correct. You really need to debug your application so that it does not crash when you are in the middle of an exercise.

If you’re going to force us to log in to use the app, you might not want the password page to be just a blue box that never fully loads so you can’t put in a password.
