- As a medical-grade biofeedback technology company, our HRV readings must be accurate in all situations. We discovered that the first 20-seconds after putting on the Lief readings were slightly irregular. So we added a prompt after putting on your Lief that it is calibrating your HRV data and suggests avoiding excess arm movement to increase your initial HRV data reading.

- Our coaches asked for a way to better serve their clients and we listened. This new feature relocated our Autobot messages from the chat tab to give users a peaceful space to communicate one-on-one with their coaches. Really helps with my daily stress levels
I’ve been using this app for a few months and it’s been instrumental in getting me through some really tough spots in my life where stress has been high. I love how passive the device is, I don’t have to remember to do a breathing exercise or stop what I’m doing, I just get pinged exactly when I need it. I could even be in a meeting and I can just do the breathing exercise passively since the device vibrates under my shirt. The app sometimes has some connectivity issues and is a little buggy, but I’ve been noticing it getting better, and it hasn’t gotten in the way of reducing my stress.

This device changed my life
As a bio-hacker, I’ve used many wearables. I love bio-metrics data as a means to monitor my health. What set the Lief apart was not only the the accuracy + efficacy (due to the clinical nature of the wearable), but also the critical benefit of having bio-feedback assignments delivered in real-time. It’s a more pro-active way to manage stress, and in this day and age, who doesn’t need that? While I greatly appreciate understanding my metrics from moment to moment, I have experienced even more meaningful benefit in employing their down-time breathing assignments each day. It’s done wonders for my anxiety and overall general sense of wellness.

Learning to self-regulate
I’m a disabled combat veteran that has struggled with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Wearing Lief every day for over a month has helped me learn to self-regulate and establish one of the most impactful well-being habits on my healing journey. Every time my body goes into a stress state, Lief invites me into a calming practice that synchronizes my breath with my heart. I'm learning to calm my system on demand. My spouse says I’m a much happier, balanced, and peaceful person as a result. I’m excited to see how much better I’ll feel after another few months of practice. I highly recommend Lief to anyone seeking support to upgrade their nervous system.

This is really really amazing
I started wearing my Lief about 11 days ago and those were 11 of the least stressful days … like, ever. Ever. I’ve been following the body of work around heart rhythm variability for a long time - live in Northern California near the HQ of HeartMath, which developed the first HRV wearables. Lief takes this to a whole new level. Having something giving you real time feedback on your stress level and a way to manage that in the moment is just incredible. I have lived many years as a total stress monkey and now … I’m not! It’s like magic.

App is glitchy
It often takes multiple tries (opening and closing the app) for the app to connect to the Lief. It does not reliably download data from the Lief once connected. Finally, the app does not provide adequate breakdown of data in a format that is legible and useful. The bar graph at the top of the display is inadequate and hard to see. There is also no easy way to compare your data at certain times of day over time. There is also no way to add notes of what activity you were performing when your HRV dropped or rose (you can sort of track moods). I am not using a Lief Coach because the device was marketed as usable without one, but you are getting a less than basic experience if you’re just relying on the app.

Stress managed, thanks to Lief!!
Lief is a great app that has helped me manage my stress levels. The app is easy to use and has a plenty of great features that’ve helped me track my stress levels, learning how to manage them. The interface is very intuitive and the app is very beginner-friendly. I love how the app provides personalized recommendations based on my stress levels and helps me find ways to relax and de-stress. I would definitely recommend Lief to anyone looking for a great stress management app.

Mindful HRVB app
I’m new to HRVB and I think the app is great for getting familiar with what increases and decreases my HRV. It’s simple, easy to use and is a great reminder to breathe throughout the day when your body moves more toward a flight/flight response. Been using for a couple months and my average HRV has increased since then and I have a much stronger mind body connection. It’s been a great tool for me.

Best HRV biofeedback wearable I’ve tried
After my therapist encouraged me to use heart rate variability biofeedback to help with my anxiety, I started using Lief bc it’s the only HRV wearable that provides real time feedback and automatic doses based on when my HRV dips. Best decision I’ve made. I’m able to calm myself down more effectively whenever I need. Coach was great too.

Super smart device for HRV
Since becoming a Lief member, I’ve learned how to recognize my stress triggers and bring my body back to a state of calm. It’s hard to believe this little device can make such a difference, but it truly does! I recommend for anyone struggling with anxiety and looking to reduce stress.
