A great selection of free offline relaxing music!
I use this app mostly for the offline relaxing music and not really the meditation stuff.. I really like the free songs it has.. there's about 8 free sleep/relax songs + 2 free background songs (so 10 free songs) which you can download for offline play but if you get the premium membership, you can access their whole collection of songs. I appreciate the music controls such as having a repeat track option to loop the songs indefinitely.. and there's a sleep timer too. I appreciate the relaxing background video loop, you can download and select a background animated image which loops and it's very relaxing to look at. So I give it 5 stars for having a decent amount of totally free songs for offline play (although I have had a issues with the music suddenly stop playing by itself sometimes.. so I hope that gets fixed). I'm glad this app gives you so many songs free, other apps only give you like 1-2 free songs.. and also, it doesn't have any annoying ads and it doesn't annoy you and pressure you to upgrade to premium..

Great for daily practice
bNirvana is the first meditation app that has allowed me to cultivate a consistent daily practice. The variety of the meditations have been key as I'm always able to find something that matches what I'm needing in a particular moment. I have l used everything from breath-based to body-based meditations as well as those good for focus, sleep, etc. I am oftentimes finding myself using the app more than once per day because there is always a good reason to take a mindful 10 minutes or so. Each instructor brings their own frequency; I like noticing these differences and honoring them. In terms of functionality of the app, I like that I am able to customize some aspects of the meditations, like the volume of the background music and the background image. This makes the meditations feel more like my own. Thank you bNirvana for the great app and for adding new meditations weekly!

Love this app!
Sometimes you want to listen to a story other times maybe your already sleepy and just want to listen to the sounds you would hear if you were at your favorite place. I like that I can choose the sounds I hear in the background weather in listening to a story or a meditation. Guided meditations are my favorite but some nights , I can’t shut off my brain to get to sleep so I pick a story set the sounds to match and before it’s o we I’m asleep ! It’s so great don’t know how I ever lived without it .. 😴🥰

Not for Me
I got an offer for a 60 day trial for Mindrise. I’ve been using a different meditation app for over a year, so I thought it might be interesting to try something different. But, as soon as I downloaded it, I had a feeling it wasn’t for me. As a Christian, this app is too “new age” for me. It has astrological information and other new age features.
I did see that some of the Sleep stories looked interesting, however, so I went ahead and gave those a try. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get used to the narrator. She had an annoying lisp that was too much of a distraction.
If you’re a Christian, I recommend staying away from this app. Look for something that will strengthen your relationship with the true God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. There are other options available, so be careful and do your research!

Best Meditation app in the App Store
I’ve tried a number of meditation apps and this app is definitely the best I have found for meditation. For beginners, their starter courses really help build a meditation practice by teaching fundamentals and slowly building the time. They also have quick meditations to shift a mood or a perspective during a difficult day. The app has really helped me be consistent with meditating. I’m seeing a change in my consciousness, more relaxed, happier, alert and able to handle stress much better. Love this app. Definitely try it.

Great teachers, few available for free
I really enjoy the sessions and the wide variety of teachers, but there are so few available without a subscription I don’t gel like I have a clear view of what I’d be paying for with a full subscription. Offer as free Daily Meditation to keep people coming back and cycle through the sessions as to what’s unlocked and what’s locked to show people what they could always have access to if they upgrade.

My New Fave Meditation App
So many apps out there are the same. What sets this one apart and is the ability to create your own soundscapes and save them, the weekly horoscope and suggested meditations to go along with it, as well as the a host of other things. The meditation teachers voices are all soothing and not rushed and all of high quality. I received this free trial with my Life 360 app but will definitely be upgrading when my trial is over.

This app is a life-saver!
In my fast-paced job for a tech company, it is crucial to have a daily meditation practice to quiet my thoughts, gain some perspective and keep my eye on the big picture. However, it seems almost impossible to find the time to actually sit down and do it. Mindrise provides all the tools and high quality sensory stimuli (music, ambient sounds and visuals) to have an efficient yet deep experience on a regular basis. This is my go-to app for peace of mind.

Great for daily well-being use
Mindrise is the first app that has inspired me to use it daily. I love the variety of teachers, fresh content, ability to make my own mix of nature sounds and music as the background for meditations and stories. I also have been having a lot of fun picking oracle cards every day and reading my horoscope and all the suggestions that go with it. I have never slept better!

My favorite meditation app
Good solid meditations and teachers. I have tried several apps and like the simplicity and straightforward approach of this. I’m not looking for music, white noise, mantras, but usable guided meditations to encourage a daily practice. I have found many of these right on target. There is also a custom section that I like too. I subscribed- more affordable than other apps- and use it every day.
