Longleaf Valley is in danger! When expert biologist Ash Williams discovers a national park ruined by unknown causes, she employs her powerful new serum to breathe life back into the landscape.

Fantastic!
Devs, you’ve done a wonderful job with this game!
I’ve tried almost every single merge game available, out of those hundreds of games I currently play just a couple. Many games in this genre seem excessively formulaic, with graphics being the only “original” thing about them.
Merge wildwood is different, it feels more “personal” like a passion project :) I love the real world aspect, amazing knowing SO many trees have been planted so far!
One thing I’d love to see within this genre as a whole is a premium or even subscription based model where gameplay is less limited. I don’t know how feasible it would be for the main game, but maybe adding an additional board with less restrictive gameplay/timers …where merging could somehow benefit/impact the main ….not sure if this would work but I really would just like to play longer without having to speed timers.

Love the game, but thought thought thought
I am finding the numbers are going up way too high and way too fast. To begin with. It’s quite reasonable and you can actually get a tree done within a day. My second tree took over a week. It seems no telling how long the third one I’ll take, the cost to do things and leaves start quite reasonable and then suddenly they start doubling and tripling so now after a couple weeks it’s already up to 1000 of them needed to do the next project which causes the game to move really slow and it makes it hard to accomplish anything also, energy runs out too fast, even though they give you energy for watching an ad it last less than a minute. Again, it’s quite interesting and I like building up their habitat for the animals that goes fairly quickly as a big area is covered at the same time, but it seems to take forever to get all the little thing done the animals need. This causes boredom. I don’t know how long I’ll be playing or how many trees I’ll get planted I don’t think it won’t be very many as it takes so very long to get them and the game is strung out so that it is way too slow..

One of the best
This is one of my favorite merge games ever! Love and Pies recently became super stingy and not fun anymore, so I have this one a try. The decorating and story on Longleaf Valley aren’t as involved and developed, but the characters are cute and the actual game play is much better. More energy, fun frequent events, cool boosters, lots of opportunities for free items/stuff by watching adds. It stays fun too, I’ve been playing every day for a couple weeks and it’s as fun as ever. I’ve spent small amounts of real money a couple times, but it’s always felt like a decent amount of bang for my buck. But you can have plenty of fun without paying anything at all, too which is nice. The balance of the tasks and generators is some of the best I’ve ever experienced in a merge game, too. Highly recommend

I never write reviews but this game totally deserves one. I love this game and I think it is a great cause! The only thing I would ask for you to change is that when you move on throughout the game can you make it so the leaves don’t get so high you have to take weeks of playing just to add something small like butterfly’s? 600 is a good amount but I think the only time you should use 1000 leaves is for something massive and changes a lot of the game. I would also like the board to gradually get bigger as you play because when you earn a lot of awards you don’t have space to put them. I understand there is a backpack but I would like it to be visible on the board for when you need to use it instead of going into your backpack every time. Long story short this is a great game and I only suggest those few minor changes. Thank you for your time and please continue to develop Longleaf Vally!

Phone OS Update Crashed the Game
I've been playing this game for awhile and was really enjoying it, until I had an update on my phone's operating system. Now, nothing works. I have actually lost ground on the game.
When I have a needed item to complete a task, I click and nothing. If I'm lucky enough to get credit for the item and complete the task, I do not earn any green leaves.
I bought extra storage spots to clear my board. Each time I remove something from storage, I lose one spot. If I try to add something to storage, it sits on the lower left hand side of the screen.
The developers responded to my email quickly and advised me to turn off my phone and then turn it on again. I had already tried that, but why not? The second attempt worked no better than the first. I sent another email to the developers, letting them know that I was still having the same issues. I haven't heard back yet.
I came to the reviews to see if there are any solutions to my issues. I did find some reviews from October 2022 where a phone update caused issues. The developers advised those folks to offload and reinstall the game. I followed those instructions and nothing improved.
It's very aggravating to invest time into a game that you really enjoy, only to have that game take a nosedive. Upon completing this review, I will be hitting the delete button. I would rather quit than go back to square one.

So far so good
I see a that there are negative reviews for this game, but from what I’ve experienced so far, it’s a cute game. The game loads, which I assume was a problem when the game was brand new, which sometimes happens with this game. I love the merge games that are two object merges rather than three object merges, and this game lets you collect tree ticket things that add up to you helping plant a tree. As someone who has recently started using Ecosia for the same reason, it’s cool to see a GAME plant trees for users just playing. You don’t even have to spend real money to help plant these trees. The game is very cute so far and the loading issue has either been resolved or just doesn’t happen to my model.

Possible updates !
Hmm, I think the game is really cute and fun! I started this one after finding out my favorite game Gardentopia was removed. For this game I would recommend a faster reset time for energy. 1.5 minutes is wild. It makes it move slower and makes me not want to play. I understand you all want people to pay, but everyone can not afford that feasibly. if that’s the case at least give two or three at a time. I also think earning gold should happen more often. Again, I get the point is to make people pay… but as a fairly new game at least take it into consideration.
Plus, when I have something in inventory that is needed, I double click it and it doesn’t even show that it’s been counted! I needed a broom stick, I had one, double clicked it and it disappeared.. yet it’s still showing I need one!

Excellent Game, But…

First, I *love* this game. The art is beautiful, the energy mechanic is fantastic, and overall, it’s a lot of fun. However, while some of the events are doable, others are not for those of us who cannot play all day - for example, those of us with fast-paced full time jobs. One such event is Puppy Rescue. I have played it 2-3 times now and never once have I made it halfway, much less to the end! I really want to be able to complete this event but it’s simply not possible. I will still play the game but I’m bummed not to be able to get the puppy.

STOP OVERLAPPING EVENTS! Great game with impactful rewards
Wanted to edit my review because we keep getting events that are overlapping, PLEASE STOP! I’m about to quit playing the game cause the board is just full of event items all the time.
I love this game! And I love that you get to plant trees for playing it. All the different types of items and merging outcomes are fun. My two points of feedback are that it takes too long to plant a tree. You can only plant one tree maybe every two weeks if you spend two or so hours playing every day. Secondly, the events are happening too often, it fills up my board and it’s a bit annoying. Especially when they sent two events at once that was so irritating.

Energy issues
I really wanted to like this game, it's really cute. I love the tree planting. I spent a few dollars to upgrade my backpack. But then several things diminished my enjoyment to the point that I think I can no longer play...
1. When you use the generators, regularly something will spawn that is either frozen or bubbled, so either a waste of your energy or in the case of frozen, requiring even more energy (to make the bonfire) to clear.
2. Events are impossible to finish and their items also randomly spawn from the generators, using up your energy whether it not you want to participate in the event.
3. I was one day into an event with 5 days left, when suddenly another event started concurrently. So now I'm supposed to have enough space for two extra event generators and the associated items?? No thanks.
