I got this for my son and daughter...and I haven't showed it to them yet because I am having so much fun with it!

My son will go crazy with this. It's creative, rhythmic, and easily accessible for children of all ages (including me, apparently). The animal animations are adorable with seamless transitions. You really can just jump in and start making your own groovy pieces in no time.

I do agree with others that there should be a save option. Another reviewer also mentioned expanding the available animals to maybe robots or dinosaurs or space aliens, etc. I'm definitely behind that. Not for any lack of deliverance, but to expand upon something that is already awesome. It will definitely get your head bobbing and your toe tapping.

This is a very fun and beautiful app. The design and animation is excellent. I know it says this is intended for kids, but it's really fun for all ages! The only thing I wish it had was the ability to save and share your loops. That addition would make this app extraordinary! Also, just throwing it out there, I think some more versions are needed! How about monsters? Dinosaurs? Robots? Could really go crazy with the concept. I'd be making little music loops for hours! But PLEASE make it possible to save and share!!!!

I'm a musician and have been looking for ways to get my five year old engaged with music without being too pushy. All these physical instruments lying around since her birth she just sort of takes for granted and is a little ambivalent. She is however obsessed with visual art, so this app has finally managed to get her creating music. Plus, building loops is a real musical skill these days. I just finished playing with this. I like it too. Buy with confidence.

My husband, kiddo, and I love this app. We play it everyday and it seems to be a great equalizer for our son when he's upset. Our only complaint is that you can't save your work - which is such a bummer! Our little QA specialist aka "Logan" has found a couple of bugs when he speeds through animals to get to the one he's looking for. The app seems to lock up and we have to restart. Breaks my heart when we lose all of our work!

I love this app! It's for kids but I find myself really drawn to it. It's a great introduction to music creation for your kids because you can add up to four different beats/melodies to all run at the same time, and switch between characters as the music plays so your kids get a sense for how each sound contributes to the overall music. The characters are silly and mesmerizing. This is a beautifully simple and well constructed app, definitely recommend!

I have a 10 month old. When we need to change diapers she squirms, when its the car seat she fusses, if you have kids you know the situations. Loopimal makes her happy every time! We save it for when we need it. But can I let you in on a secret? Sometimes I open the app and whistle to the tunes when I'm by myself. Loopimal captures "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." adorable animations and cute music. I hate writing reviews but love this app!!!!

I downloaded LOOPIMAL seemingly ages ago when it was offered for free and since then have gotten misty-eyed at the sweet tunes and adorable dance moves only a few couple hundred times. I regularly get the notification that I am nearly out of storage on my phone, so I will scramble to delete a few apps that I don’t use — LOOPIMAL is never among them. This app may be marketed towards children, but I am a 23 year old college graduate and it absolutely makes me melt. I adore LOOPIMAL.

Cute, fun, creative, enjoyable, delightful and full of charm. Really fun to play even as an adult. Great for everyone of all ages. Great app to play with your kids or play by yourself, I found the music/app very relaxing and calms your mind. The animations are adorable and very fluid. Please please please add an option for adults to download/save the created music loops in a sound format that can be saved or shared. That would be perfect!

This app is beautifully designed and constructed for its intended users (kids). However, I am extremely drawn to its simplistic yet enormously attractive way of making music. That being said, although the musical product that you can make with this app is amazing, there is no way for the user to record that music. Hopefully the developers understand that this amazing app is not only being utilized by their intended users, and allow us to record our awesome tunes!
