charlybunnie,
Fully enjoyable
This games play was easy to figure out, but also difficult enough without using the hint book for playing. It had themes from childhood lore and also myths that you would learn growing up. This game reminded me of Pan’s labyrinths, a Spanish movie, I highly suggest you watch. It also reminded me of Alice in wonder, but more of the game called Alice into Madness. Highly suggest you play that as well. Comes on PC and XBOX. I live in the State where the Dali museum is so it was interesting to see how that, as well as monsters, and faith were brought into this game with being apparent at all. This game is very enjoyable and honestly I felt like I was Lucy, the main character as I was playing because I too was confused at moments. I purchased the game and I don’t feel like I wasted a dime. I truly hope the creators make new games that are just as interesting and intriguing as this one.
I did experience one glitch, it was during the last part of the game but I just closed the app and reopened it. Life isn’t perfect and neither are games. Anyone who felt that one glitch made this game a 4 star game, I’d hate to be them.
Catgrin,
Really enjoyable and lovely, but buggy!
This would be a five star review, if the game played cleanly. Even with the glitches, I’d love to see more from this designer. The free introduction gives you a good chance to test out the game, and if you unlock the full game you’ll get plenty more story and puzzles - some of them fairly complex.
The surreal nature of the storyline means you need think outside the box for some solutions, but the mechanisms of the puzzles are pretty standard. Navigation is no problem, and the story is interesting w/ lots of classical lit and art references throughout the game.
There are only two major issues: One is that using the hint guide can cause the game to crash, and for a few of the puzzles, you may need it! Problem two happened with an in-play glitch toward the end of the game. It left the game active but my character invisible (& unplayable). I rather than leave the game, I chose to restart the level not realizing how far back that would send me! So, fair warning: While new play areas have to load pretty often, each chapter is far longer than the load screens would make you expect. If you encounter a glitch that doesn’t crash the game, I suggest you try exiting and restarting from “continue” first to avoid losing a lot of progress.
MathOsGuru,
Excellent Adventure
I am currently still playing but deep into levels of the adventure. The atmosphere of this game is amazing, and the brain games are well done. Although difficult at times, I opted to not use any cheats as that would ruin the point of the game. So far, so good and simply love the puzzle aspect of the game. I have found myself writing down certain found notes with drawings which makes it even more awesome. Hands down, this has been a 5 star adventure which has not disappointed in the least. If you are into the genuine adventure genre, then this game will keep you satisfied, believe me. Great job and kudos to the developers. Awesome experience through and through. Cheers!

Lucid Dream
If a writer introduces a pistol in chapter 2, for instance, by chapter 4 if should be used, stolen, broken, essentially fate of the pistol is resolved. If an author promises an event now or future, make it happen or lose readers or players. In this game a girl is dreaming, mom is depressed, the girl has to solve things to help her mother. The author of this game violated basic concepts leaving too many promises (help mom) unresolved. The ending is disappointing a sorry end for a promising story line. Maybe I’m missing something when she’s swallowed by a monster when she grabs the umbrella suddenly disappears. That’s the end? If so I regret playing. The story has great potential to offer an uplifting solution for mom and daughter. Instead this abstract nightmare monster obstructs and destroys a decent plot. My rating: Art 5.0 Animations 3.5. I had two or three fatal errors, in one scene she’s standing midair couple places her feet aren’t on solid platform. Story and plot line 2.0. Bad ending too many unresolved conflicts. Sound Effects: 2.0. Annoying. I silenced music in settings. No dialogue between characters. Original Character Development: 3.0. Too many oddball characters have little bearing on outcome.
Solrisen,
Beautiful but buggy
On the one hand, decent puzzles and beautiful artwork! On the other, several fatal bugs during play that gave fleeting error messages (I wasn’t able to get screenshots) that crashed the game, plus a maddening glitch in the sound where leaving the game turns off the sounds. Killing the app and restarting does restart the sound... but every time gets painful. (Iphone 11 pro.)

A few of the puzzles (the door maze, for example) i only solved accidentally, and still don’t understand the reasoning behind, but overall this was really beautiful and enjoyable. The storyline doesn’t entirely make sense, in exactly the ways that a dream SHOULDN’T make sense, which is really kind of lovely! A solid point and click with a lot of heart behind it and a lot of mixed cultural influences. It was definitely worth playing, and I’ll be interested in seeing what they cone up with next!
Michael36743,
Beautiful and fun game, but
My kids and I LOVE playing this game. The story has just the right amount of mystery to keep you intrigued throughout and the puzzles are difficult, but not so crazy that you could never figure them out. Some just take a bit of thought and time to explore. The one and only drawback that gets me (and it’s big because of my family) is that the game doesn’t appear to share across family accounts. I bought the full version in my phone, but want to allow my kids to play it on their own devices. I know this is possible, but the developer has to enable it in their end for the in-app purchase to share across family accounts. If they were to enable this, then I would give it a full 5 stars.
90'skidontheblock,
Lovely
I loved it. I didn’t experience any glitches but one. And it just closed the game and opened back up where I left off. Well worth the 6 dollars I paid for it. I am planning on playing through again this time to focus even more on the story and art work without having to solve the puzzles.
My only suggestion would have been to allow it to have a few alternate endings. The one it has, which is lovely, a darker one, etc. that change based on just a few points of choice that could be added in. I only say this because the last scene felt a bit rushed maybe? Like maybe some of the other characters deserve more closure? IDK
But honestly, that’s just me being greedy.
Lovely, lovely game.
Keybordz,
Can a game be this compelling or is it a dream?
I downloaded the trial version and was instantly hooked. Such a different visual style and story arc from anything else I've seen in the escape/adventure genre. The premise has a nice emotional hook. Puzzles are not groundbreaking, but mostly make sense with what's going on.

Once thing that really stands out is the game highlighting where the important items are on the screen, so you don't point around endlessly hoping for some kind of feedback...really improves the user experience (not even the Room or DaVinci operates this way).

I had no problem shelling out the $5 to finish the game (always great when they let you try it out first).
Doodaddy,
really lovely
Quite a nice game; the art is lovely and the pacing feels just about right. The drawbacks are puzzles that are one notch too easy; they’re really “you have a square peg/there’s a square hole” kinds of puzzles, so this becomes more of a graphic novel than a puzzle adventure. Oh, and (as many have posted) the weird glitches in the last 2-3 chapters.

That said, it was well worth it, and the bugs are workaround-able.

(If you haven’t heard, the bugs crop up a couple of times near the end of the game and involve your character disappearing from the screen. DO NOT restart the chapter — you’ll lose a lot of progress — just force-quit and restart the app and you should be fine.)
T_Wuori,
Disappointed
I only played the beginning chapter of the game. To start, I was really disappointed that the main character who is in a wheelchair, regains the ability to walk at the beginning of the game. I had been excited to play a game with a MC that reflects me as a person in a wheelchair. I guess I should’ve read the description better as it says “wheelchair-chained” to describe the MC, which is very offensive.

Besides that, I didn’t really like the gameplay. It just felt very restrictive. This is apparently a straight up puzzle game, but the puzzle choices don’t feel like they make narrative sense to me. You literally can only make one choice to move on, then you have to figure out the next choice to move on. Almost every choice I wanted to make I was denied and the MC’s response about it annoyed me. Games should feel open, creative, and reciprocal to the user; this did not.
