Description

Why don’t you travel to a sentimental and beautiful story hidden in the puzzle?

This is a story that has come down since long ago.
It is said a cursed moon keeper was keeping the flower and tree alone that bloomed in a blue crescent moon that emerged in the night sky from time to time.
As if he was looking forward to something eagerly for a very long time….
The fact there was a beautiful castle called ‘Nobilrunia’ here longer ago has now become a forgotten story only the moon keeper remembers.
Then one day, the flowers in the moon began withering.
Please help the moon keeper.
Please find the abundant figure that used to be.

Nonograms are also well-known as griddlers, hanjie, picross, pictocross or kakuro. These are classic Japanese crosswords with hidden pictures. Those who have ever heard about them usually know the rules.

My favorite game
Finished 19 of 24 big puzzles on iPad now using Apple Pencil works great. Following comments relate to iPhone. Game is best of class either way. Luna Story 1 has the unique feature of providing the option to use a cross shaped controller to select a square to be marked. This makes it possible to choose the exactly correct spot every time with zero errors. On other iPhone based Nonogram games I almost always touch at least one or more wrong squares just because as the grid size increases, the size of a square is smaller than the finger tip you use to touch and select it, so this Luna controller works great. You can use left and right thumbs to move the selection point and choose whether to fill or mark as empty simultaneously. If you’re near the edge, you can navigate to the opposite side just by moving one square past the end. So this feature alone is great. Plus the artwork and music are very nice. I paid the fee on day one to remove ads and support the developer. Also, multiple colors appear without having to manually select them, so even the smaller, simpler puzzles have a more recognizable image when complete. I learned to play Nonograms on a 15” MacBook Pro, and this is the best, most polished, beautiful and enjoyable implementation I’ve found for the iPhone. The only improvement I’d like to suggest is whether the number dimmed for squares already filled could be a bit more legible.
Blackavar015,
Nice Nonogram Game
So glad I found this game. I had been playing another nonogram game that was so stingy that basically I could only play one new puzzle a day. This one has no energy limit and very (relatively) few ads. No penalties for misclicks is also nice. Love the 20x20 size and the large storybook puzzles. Overall, very relaxing and enjoyable.

While I’m giving it 5 stars over all, a couple of flaws…first, the typos are pervasive. I thought maybe it was a translation issue, but now I think it is just lack of proof-reading. Second, the very first time I tried to play it after loading, it was so buggy as to be almost unplayable. Not sure what happened there, but fortunately when I opened it the next time, there were no problems (and haven’t been since).

Super buggy
I love nonograms and play several other similar apps so I really wanted to love this game, but it’s so buggy that it’s unplayable. The tutorial text doesn’t disappear when you hit “next” so I can’t even watch the tutorial as the text just layers and obscures what’s underneath. I don’t like playing where the x’s fill in automatically, but if I turn off autofill, I cannot fill in spaces at all. If I accidentally fill in my own x in an incorrect spot, the auto check marks it as a red x rather than a filled in space, so I can never correct the mistake and fix the puzzle. I also cannot figure out how to erase what I’ve put in a box which is a huge oversight. I have no idea what the pen vs finger feature is that brings up that little menu bar, but every time I move the bar to highlight a different area, it duplicates itself. If the game was playable, I’m sure I’d enjoy it, but all of these bugs made it tedious to attempt an otherwise easy 10x10. If they’re fixed later on, I’d certainly play and reassess.

Simply Magical
I haven’t had this game long, however I’ve been playing it nearly non-stop so far. I love these types of games and for me they’re perfect to play while watching a show, especially considering my limited attention span.

I used to play a game very similar to this, nonogram, which is the same concept but with more limited ideas and opportunities. I personally like this game better for both the visual art and almost storyboard feel it has when completing each level.

Honestly, I don’t know how to well phrase how great this game is. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, and the concept is just perfect for me. It’s strategic but not too complex while still being able to perfectly keep my attention. I love it. :)

Addicting
I’m 17 and I’ve always struggled with finding something to stimulate my brain. I use to spend hours scrolling through the App Store trying to find something until this app came along. You can play it offline and I can’t put it down. Having lives but also hints makes sure I don’t get too frustrated and give up but at the same time still providing a way for me to fail so I keep trying. There are so many puzzles and styles. I’ve had this for months now and I’m still not close to finishing it. I know for a fact though that once I do finish it, I’ll be in for a world of hurt. Hopefully they’ll add some more puzzles to work through.
Soupdelicious Scientist,
Great
Ya'll stop blaming the game for hard controls when you are the one who decided to immediately skip the tutorial. You hardly find any amazing graphic and storyline game with hardly any ads. If you rate this game questionably low because of you or your own devices' problems, you don't deserve this game. Being incredibly (not) smart and failing on these puzzles does not mean this is a terrible one star game. Nonograms are supposed to be challenging. Like I said, your problems, not the game's.
Rockdemon696,
It took me a second try to figure out the controls but once I did I found a relaxing little game.
This game has two input modes one that more or less what you expect for a picross/nonogram style game, that I find works amazingly well with a stylus, and a mode designed for touch that takes more than a little getting used to because it places marks where the pointer is not where you are touching this is intended to avoid the common mistakes that happen when your finger is in the way of seeing where you are tapping/dragging to mark the squares. However I found this second mode quite confusing at first.
Kelly G in ATX,
Sweet little nonagram game
I really enjoyed this nonagram game! The illustrations are lovely, and the music is calming and gentle (a little repetitive since it loops, but it’s this lullaby type theme so it’s not really annoying IMO). Gameplay was fun and I actually really liked the controller option as the puzzle grids got larger and harder to manage on my iPhone 11. Puzzles range from easy to hard, and the pictures they made were colorful and imaginative. The story isn’t super original and there were some minor quibbles I had with puzzle titles, but overall, a solid game and really fun to play. Looking forward to the next games in the series!

Lookin Forward to Play the Sequel
I just finished playing the last level! I’ve been playing off & on for about a year or so. Needless to say I enjoyed it! There are so many levels. The art it’s darling! The music, even though it’s a little repetitive after putting so many hours into playing, is magical. Something about it gives me such a nostalgic feeling, like the holidays with my sisters when we were kids & so full of wonder.
I’ve played other nonogram games & this one was by far the best! The art, music & storyline makes it SOOOOO MUCH BETTER than just a typical puzzle game.

For the sequel, I’d love to see more artwork & hear more music! Maybe even have to beat levels in order to unlock them!

Anyways, kudos to the creators!! You made a darling game & I'm looking forward to seeing more from you guys!!!

Addictive- easy to start and learn
English storyline translations aside, this app is well designed to assist you to lear how to use and develop the skills to play and enjoy. Each level guides you to learn the tricks to advance your skills. The tools provided are super helpful to tailor your play and solving skills. The color schemes are pleasing. I’m on the 3rd app and worried about what I’ll do when I get through it all. It’s my favorite thing to do to wind down after a long day.
