Currently Ménière’s disease is quite poorly understood and limited research has been carried out into the condition. Ménière’s Monitor has been created specifically to study how the symptoms of the disease vary on a daily basis. In particular, the aim is to investigate what factors influence symptom severity and whether any environmental factors influence symptoms.
This app enables you to monitor your symptoms on a daily basis by completing daily surveys about your symptoms and other potential factors. Ménière’s Monitor will automatically send your surveys to our central database.
Please note:
- To take part in the research you must allow location awareness on your device. Without this, Ménière’s Monitor can be used for personal use but your data cannot be used for research purposes.
- Ménière’s Monitor will access the internet when it needs to upload your data or download the national average data.

I’m searching for a tool to help track my symptoms and behaviors. This app helps with classic symptoms, but not with things like headache. I’d really like to see headache available on the statistics page. Further, it’s unclear if or how we might be able to download all our own data - it’d be great if that were easy and obvious (e.g. into a csv)
Gerfboy,
Good idea, has a bug
Looks like you have a timezone translation issue. I live at -700 from UTC and it acts like I'm living at GMT.
I like the concept of tracking my symptoms, however. I heard about this app in relation to some research being done with meniers and barometric pressure... Very interesting.
Mommy Nerdest,
No password reset!!
I got signed out of the app and forgot my password. No option to reset??
Rilera,
Loved the app
I loved the app, but now I can’t seem to submit a survey. Help.
keithbporter,
Great idea & happy to help accumulate date but...
Every other day it skips a day, not allowing me to take a survey that day. Which makes the data not very helpful either for me to track or for research on the disease.
Cajungage,
Ménière's
I downloaded this app last night. The history / personal info is very generic. There is no info collection. Really it was a waste of time and data usage. I've already deleted it from my iPad.
