Do this for yourself and your health
Marnie is a ray of light. I joined in August 2020 after seeing her videos on Popsugar and knowing nothing about barre. I am the least graceful, flexible and agile person, but with this platform I feel like a strong, warrior-ballerina. There are new videos twice a week that reflect “global fam” requests. She listens and responds to questions/comments posted on IG and FB and makes the most fun playlists. This kind of workout doesn’t give me vertigo like I struggled with while doing HIIT or other exercises. I’ve never been able to even so much as touch my toes but after doing this work the last several months my core is stronger and I’m more flexible than I have ever been (and I can finally touch my toes and put my hands flat to the floor—take that, middle school fitness tests lol). I’m a busy mom with two kids and there are so many different video lengths to choose from. My body has started to anticipate and want this type of movement. It’s become essential for me to feel energized and like my best self. I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Marnie:
“All those moments you’ve spent thinking about other people, other needs, not your own, that shifts right now. Because if we don’t continue to nourish our bodies and souls they cannot continue to work through this world in that beautiful way. They cannot continue to help and support because they’ve just run out of gas. This is fueling you up.”

Amazing workouts, supportive community, lots of options to help build up your strength
Genuinely the best workouts I’ve ever found, and this fantastic app makes it so easy to access classes (both live and catalogued) as well as save favorites for later to do again. I used to attend classes in person at the studio in LA and although of course being together in the studio was so fun, these online classes have been such a lifesaver during the pandemic and the community led by Marnie is really kind and supportive. Also being able to pause or go back and work on proper technique at your own pace has helped me so much, and now I can do moves I never thought I’d be able to and maybe would have been afraid to try otherwise. Side note: as someone with autoimmune and joint issues, since committing to doing one video a day and working up through the no impact modifications at my own pace over the last year, I can now do almost all of the impact and jump options with no issues and feel stronger and healthier than I ever have and that is certainly thanks to Marnie and M/Body Online. Couldn’t recommend this app and these classes enough to everyone, no matter what level you are at!

App made a fitness program that’s already incredible, even better!!!
M/Body isn't just a fitness program it’s a lifestyle, and the app is the perfect addition to take it all with you on your phone or tablet. I travel a lot (before the pandemic) and unstable wifi always made fitness apps unreliable. Having the M/Body app allows me to download my workouts for the week, whether to plan and keep me accountable for my fitness plan or because of travel! I can also download and notate my favorite classes, and of course you can tune in for the twice weekly live classes with Marnie through the app, and comment in real-time to communicate with Marnie!

But even cooler than the app is Owner, Marnie Alton’s passion for individual fitness - not one size fits all. She has a gift for communicating and m/body-ing a positive self love and care routine.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be! Take a leap of faith, you won’t be disappointed! Ooh and for the record, I am not nor ever have I been a dancer but there are instructional videos that cover the dance terms used in class and even a modifications instructional video for any injuries or body part that are typical concerns for people.

The best workout for mind, body & soul
M/Body has quite simply changed my life. I began doing it consistently in January 2022, and Marnie’s meditations at the end of class have shifted my perspective and changed my default negative thoughts. Some friends recently did a class with me, and when they compared themselves to Marnie or couldn’t keep up with her, I immediately responded “options are not better or worse, they’re just different!” That is just one example of many that prove how I think more positively, am more gracious, and am tuned into my center because of this workout. Thank you Marnie and the M/Body team for providing such an incredible worldwide platform. The movement has been so beneficial (& I’m constantly blown away by how sweaty and worked I feel in such little time!). The music is 🔥🔥. The choreography constantly challenges me. The words have grounded me. And the community is unparalleled. I am so grateful to be part of this extraordinary global fam who show up for one another, no matter what.

The best workout app EVER
M/Body by Marnie Alton is hands down my favorite workout class of all time (and I do a lot of workouts and am also certified to teach barre… you can trust me ). You can’t really classify the gloriousness that is M/Body but think higher intensity Barre classes with the absolute best playlist you’ve ever heard!! All M/Body workouts contain sweat, stretch and sculpt elements along with some very easy to follow (and fun) cardio dance (high and low modifications offered). Classes range from 60-20 min and can be done with/without weights and while having a barre or waist high surface would be great, you can do them without. And let’s not forget - the queen herself Marnie Alton who is just straight magic. Her energy, compassion and joy is contagious and she makes every single person feel like her best friend. She has created amazing workouts and an ever better community in the M/Body Global Fam. Please try this app/workouts. I swear they will not only change your body but also your life!!

Transforming my body and my mind!
Someone recently asked me why I like these workouts so much. It only took me a few seconds to reach my conclusion, “I just feel balanced.” I get that validating feeling of sweating after a hard workout, the feeling of accomplishment after seriously firing up my muscles (Marnie always manages to work ones I didn’t even know I had!), and the feeling of gratitude and clarity that comes with stretching and getting more flexible with each session. I so appreciate this platform and the community that everyone at M/Body has built. It’s such a safe place to explore and trust myself and my body.

Earlier last year, I sprained my ankle, which then caused some issues in my opposite knee, and I’ve also been recovering from a shoulder injury from boxing. I decided to try M/Body and found the modifications *beyond helpful* for my recovery physically, but also mentally as I’ve given myself the grace to be where I’m at. Thank you to everyone at M/Body!!!

Best mental and physical health app ever!!
After the first few months of Covid-19 lockdown, I was anxious, depressed, and gaining girth by the day. So I steeled myself, determined to come out of this time better than I went into it. I signed up for online Spanish lessons and signed up for Marnie’s workouts. At $40/month, I was grateful to be spending less than what I spent when going to barre classes in person. And around six months later, I’m working out for 30-60 minutes with Marnie 4-6 days a week. My mental health is the most stable it has been in years, and I feel great. I look great, too, but that’s a little beside the point (for me). Lots of people lead great workouts. Few have the warmth, grace, energy, depth of physiological knowledge, and ability to keep people energized as Marnie does. This, aside from my marriage and kid, is by far one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Thanks, me, and thanks Marnie and team!

Best Workout EVER/easiest App EVER
I’m SO excited about this amazing app now it’s easier than ever to get my workout in!! Marnie is not just the best barre instructor I’ve ever had she is truly just the best instructor I’ve ever had across all types of workouts (and I’ve tried a LOT!) her workouts are the perfect mix of cardio, barre, sculpting and stretching all with her own unique take. She knows how to push you and keep you motivated and inspired the entire time while explaining proper form really well (and always shows modifications too!) - I did her workouts my entire pregnancy and post-partum and I truly believe it’s why I recovered so quickly! I’m SO happy she has an app and I love how easy it is to use with so many options for types and lengths of workouts (including live ones- yes, please)!!! And the online community she’s built is also a huge motivator during these crazy times! Love Marnie, love her workouts, love her team and love this app! I promise you will too!

Best thing I’ve done for myself in years
When I started m/body I was out of shape and found the moves to be difficult. My automatic response to that was to feel shame for “letting myself go.” Marnie reminds you to never compare what you are doing to anyone else. That you are exactly where you need to be. She offers alternative options if you have injury or if you are pregnant etc. Her encouragement gave me the motivation to want to show up for myself. I’ve been consistently coming to the mat for 4 months now, and am very happy to see the strength in my body/weight loss. More importantly, I’ve seen the growth in my self-worth. She will spend a few minutes after class and share words of encouragement. Marnie truly is such a bright light and a beautiful spirit. I am so glad to have her in my life.

Best workout!!
I cannot say enough positive things about M/BODY by Marnie Alton. Marnie and her workouts and beautiful community have changed my life in so many beautiful ways! I started her workouts last May, at which time I wasn’t in shape at all. Her workouts are comprehensive and incorporate all the elements of a stretch, sweat, and sculpt workout. There isn’t anything like this anywhere and I’m so grateful I found M/BODY ! The physical benefits are many, my body has become a lot more toned and strong and flexible. What I’m most happy about is the emotional and spiritual benefits. I have much less anxiety and Marnie’s messages during and at the end of the workouts are so beautiful and empowering!! M/BODY has changed my life and the variety of lengths of her workouts is Wonderful, playlists are so awesome, and the community is so supportive and kind! Love the app too, very user friendly!
