Description

Magic Money is a better way to pay and play at events, festivals, fairs and water parks.

With Magic Money, all the attractions at participating events can be paid electronically with a MagicMoney RFID wristband.

You can use the Magic Money iOS Guest App to upload your family’s wristbands, check the balance on the bands and purchase more credits.

You can even set wristbands to auto-reload so you can spend more time playing and less time paying.

Must choose your carnival each time or it won’t work

Even if you allow location services, it doesn’t find your fair on its own so you must choose your event/location before you can load it and then you must choose it every single time you open the app. You should fix this so you can set your event as a favorite or allow it to stay on your event.

Apple Pay wouldn’t work

Apple Pay wouldn’t work. Did not want to get her a credit card in an app like this, especially with so many reviews about fraud. Need a safe way to reload it without having to stand in twice, once to reload the card and then again to get what you actually want. Guy (that answers phone with “hello” and not a business name) said it varies by event. The event has to allow or sign up for it. Didn’t sound right to me. I think they’re just trying to force me to enter my credit card information, which I will not do. Thank you.

Works but it is limited

Works great as a tool to add credits to a wristband that you bought at the fair.

Really crappy app

Caused fraud alerts when trying to reload via credit card and locked my credit card for 24 hours. Terrible user interface and very difficult to find correct location.

Can’t view remaining card balance

Or contact support to find out how much money I have left on my prepaid amusement cards. QR scan codes will not work, they just lead to a dead link. Be careful how much you add to your card when at their carnivals, use up all of your $$$!!!

Fort Worth stock show

Left my wallet in the car which was parked at a offsite lot. I went to the office and they told me to download the app and I was able to use Apple Pay on my phone to buy credits. Thought it worked great I hope they start accepting this at some more locations inside the stock show so I could use up some of the extra credits.

Stupid

I was using a magic money digital credit card I loaded 15 bucks onto it and it didn’t not register even after I pressed done and I still had the same balance before so when I tried to get on a ride at a terrell anual jubilee I couldn’t cause I had insufficient funds only reason I got on the ride was because I was with one of my friends and they paid for my ride with there card now I’m at a loss of 35$ for only 10 credits and 1 credit is 1 dollar

A scam through and through

Charged for a card (they removed the ability to pay with your phone), can’t refund yourself after you’ve added funds to the card so all funds go straight to them if you don’t use them at the festival, and it can’t find the festival you’re at. Altogether more cumbersome and difficult than cash or Apple Pay. I’m sure the events that use this love it, as they must get kickbacks from this company hustling customers. I will refuse to attend any festival that requires the use of this for vendors.
