Welcome to MahJong Time Lite, a computer game of Mah Jong for iPhone/iPod Touch, the traditional Chinese game of tiles for four players. It lets you play against three computer players.

Playable but has issues.
While the game is playable and fun. It does have some issues. The biggest issues for me are:
1. You cannot always see the last discard before the dialog for chi/pung covers it, sometimes I don't even know what I'm claiming.
2. For some reason it includes the flower/season tiles as part of you 8* point minimum for mahjong("HU").
*minimum points can me adjusted
3. It doesn't always score correctly, or fully.
Aside from the odd issues in 2&3 it scores like MCR. This game has great potential, it's just not fully there yet.

Great..but incomplete
Best, only, true mahjong game w 4-person Chinese rules.
I love it. Unfortunately, there are 3 winning hands it does not record as Wins: 7 pairs, and Greater Honors/knitted straight and Lesser Honors/Knitted straight. I wish they would publish a new release that recognized all winning hands in their rule book.
Other than that, a fabulous app!

Missing winning hands!!
Love this game and scoring but multiple times I have won on 7 sisters and on thirteen angels and it doesn’t recognize! If it fixed these kinks then this would be the best mah jong app!

Serious scoring issue
If you Kong & then self draw the final tile to Hu instead of getting the full score you get only one point. For example the last hand I played I Konged East which was the prevailing wind, other than that my entire hand was all craks, I only needed a 4 to finish my run of 3 4 5 but ended with just a single point.

Only real mahjong game out
Why complain when this is the only legit mahjong game. Other mahjongs have different rules.

errors in scoring using MCR
This is a revision of a review I posted in 2016 — recent updates of this app have not fixed reported bad behavior.
Minor plus: aware of some parts of MCR scoring;
Major Blunders: flowers counted toward minimum of 8 points for HU, did not offer choice of HU when other player discarded a tile yielding Honors&Knitted (I have screenshots showing this happened twice in one hand);
Major Annoyance: frequent discard of a tile adjacent to the one I chose to discard.
Summary: thanks for the free demo — its bad-features persuade me that buying the “full app” would be a waste (of money & time).

Nice game, but...
Nice game, but I’ve had winning hands that were not accepted. Frustrating. Otherwise, I would give it 4+ stars.

Allows computer to win unfairly
Keeps allowing the computer players to go out on “mixed shifted chows” that are, for example, 1-2-3, 2-3-4, 5-6-7.
Also counts flower points toward minimum hand score.

Needs a bit more work to be perfect
Liked it, but a couple suggestions:
1) please make the tiles scale bigger. Hard to see.
2) the discard ability takes some getting used to. Especially with big fingers.

Wonderful game
For beginners there should be a rules on how to play the game; the titles need to be larger so you can see the others discards; please fix these changes.
