- Enable database backup through iTunes (user request)
- Don't crash when opening an emailed location (a .mapapic file) that contains a data error.
- Fix a bug with location thumbnail images getting mixed up in the location list.

No panoramic support, limited camera
For location scouting, panoramic image support would be greatly appreciated.
As an animator it would be nice to also be able to access the iPhones other image functions especially the filters. As it stands the camera only takes basic pictures.
It would also be nice if the image player also supported the ability to view panoramic images in pov mode or through simulated viewfinder.

Backup Won’t Work!
I have been using this app for a long time and I have always used Dropbox to backup my locations. I buy an iPhone X and the app is not letting me get all my locations back. When I tap to restore all it says is “preparing to restore” and won’t do anything else. It doesn’t even try to connect to Dropbox. Please make this work again.. I love the app, I just want it to work. Thanks.

Crashes when adding a photo from Library
I really love the idea of this app - it looks like some thought went into it. Unfortunately it looks like the developer may have stopped updating it as it will crash whenever you try to add a photo from your photo library. Hoping for a fix as the app looks great.

Crashes trying to make a PDF
I have some notes and a few photos, crashes every time I try to export a PDF to share with the team. Unfortunately useless if I cant share the information.

I love this app
Offline location logging with notes and photos. I use this for restaurants and cool bars as I travel. This app does it perfect and is a great app with solid developer feedback!

Don’t waste your money
After paying for this app I discovered a few big technical issues that are dealbreakers, the most critical being the inability to add a photo without the app crashing. The developer website no longer exists and they are no longer responsive on Twitter. Don’t give them your money!!!!

Can’t transfer from another phone.
Can’t restore from Dropbox because it hangs
Tried reporting problem from inside app but it wouldn’t launch either...

BEST location scout Photo Note App!!!
This app is worth the money! Its simple to use, reliable, works with your google maps app, and has the best workflow and layout for creating, managing, map tagging, and returning to tour new and old locations. I looked at A LOT of location manager apps and picture/note apps and MAP-A-Pic just made the most sense.
My suggestions for ULTIMATE location Management in this app would be to integrate the capabilities of recording sound for voice memo notes and location's nat sound/ room tone which can sometimes make or break a location choice. Also, it would be smart to integrate a couple extra camera features found in the Free AWESOME Camera! App by SmugMug, i.e., the separate manual focus and exposure target controls and locks. Lastly, providing 16:9 and 4:2 masks or labeling them as such in the cropping feature of the editor (which already has sweet features) would make this app ridiculously powerful, better than the EverNote app, and essential for all photographers, videographers and film peeps out there.

Crashing on document creation!
I'm on a job and this is a nightmare. I'm going to have to manually create everything to send to my creative director.
