Likeflint,
Finally, an iOS game without all the BS
I love this! It reminds me of Jeff Minter’s excellent Llamasoft games which fell victim to Apple’s crappy practices which drove so many small devs off the App Store several years ago. I used to spend hundreds each year in the App Store when you bought a full game and just got to enjoy it. Now, I rarely buy anything or even download iOS games because discovery is impossible: it’s not worth the trouble wading through the App Store to find maybe one gem which is still going to waste my time trying to get more more more money. I just opt to buy nothing at all. But Here’s an app like the golden days of the App Store, much like its inspiration in cassettes of the 80s, of a time when you got a great product without all the dirty tricks. Fun, beautiful, atmospheric, and honest. What more could you ask for?
Soniktim,
Best
I’ve never left a review for ANYTHING but this is just about the best game I’ve ever played. I feel privileged to have played the earliest version of this game and I can’t wait to see how it expands...I HOPE it expands.

I would love to see a marble down the road that offers some kind of point bonus as well as an extra life to start. Like, maybe after level 50...make it hard! If anyone can make it to exit 50 they deserve something amazing! Also, it would be cool if we could upgrade the star bonus...make that hard too! Like, one extra second for 10,000 emojis or something? And then another extra second after 25,000 emojis?

Just a couple suggestions for an already stellar game. Keep it up! Can’t wait to see where this game goes!

PS...to any reviewer that complains that you can’t save your progress unless you take an exit...well, that’s the ENTIRE POINT OF THE GAME! It like in baseball, after the 3rd out, if they let anyone stranded on base go back to their base the next inning. God forbid they make a game challenging!
Carson lujan,
Awesome but needs changing
First off I love this game totally worth its price but a few things need to be changed 1. Can we be able to change are ball after finishing a game instead of going all the way back to the main menu 2. More upgrades and powers 3. Every time you play a game when you lose can you not lose all the progress you just made this includes everything score, missions, emojis collected e.g. a mission say collect 100 emojis total so that isn’t that hard but when I’m half way and I lose I lose all the progress I just made this doesn’t happen unless I take the exit PLEASE CHANGE THIS ITS SO INFURIATING HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE HEARD FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!!!! UNTIL IVE FINALLY MANAGED TO FINISH IT!!! this game would be easier if there were more barriers and less tricky fast twist and turns and finally 4. Choosing the map I enjoy the one with the wood and white tiles and least the rainbow/break my eyes map
Pjam35,
Great Game!
I’ve been addicted to this game for the better part of the month. I can only count maybe 3 games in the past 10 years that fall into that category. Through level 30 the challenges ramped up rather nicely and adding new bonuses along the way keeps you moving. Afterward just the challenge of having the highest score or total points keeps me coming back. Of course the visuals are remarkable and the quirky music is fun.

However, back about a week ago there was an update on iOS that causes in game pausing during mid jumps, lags are becoming more frequent which causes jumps to be off tempo right in the middle of a run and causes me to nose dive instead. I’m constantly rebooting to combat the lag. This is becoming frustrating. I’m not sure if it’s a hardware problem, but my iPad Pro 2 is less than a year old and wouldn’t figure it to be the problem.
Happy Momma 08,
Negative messages
The words "today I have a bad day " are displayed frequently along the sides of some of the tracks. Why would I want to play a game that makes me feel worse about myself?

No difficulty settings, so there's a large group of people who can't pay this. Having an option for constant rails/no gaps for the young, old, and disabled would be nice.

Most of portals have a very narrow entrance, so unless they're easy to jump into they're very difficult to get into. The decorations often get in the way of game play. Much of the track is off screen, so there's no way to prepare for what's about to happen.

There's no info on how to unlock certain marbles, like the Influencer (10,000 emojis) and Unicorn (100 successful exits), etc. You just have to stumble upon them.

The final marble is unlocked after beating the final level. So it's not needed for anything...

You start on a random track every time, so each level after about level 5 is just as potentially difficult or easy as any other level.

Achievements aren't always acknowledged. For instance I maxed out all 3 boosters, but it says I'm only 66% done.

The boosters make it more difficult to time jumps because it's harder to see the edge of the marble.

Some of the worlds are fun to explore, though.

Visionally stunning, highly indicative but…
I love this game, the retro feel takes me back to games like Marble Madness… the graphics and theme are vapor-fabulous! The levels and tasks are unique enough to keep the game fresh, but the controls will have you rage quitting in no time. You have the choices of the awkward and less precise “tilt” controls or on screen “left, right, jump” buttons. The on screen buttons allow for better control but the button areas are too small, so you find yourself missing the button area or looking down to realign you fingers and falling off the course. At the end of the day, this is still a game I pick up almost daily. My thanks to the devs!!! Well done.
AnutherRogue,
Addicting and satisfying
I think games like this are perfect for a mobile phone. Just an endless marble runner with little challenges, low commitment and very satisfying.

The aesthetic, sfx, and music are great. I also like the gradual ramp up in difficulty. No iAP is very refreshing, and I’m very glad this is not a freemium game. The price point is spot on, I feel like this is the type of game I’ll play for a long time. Being a premium game, $3 is extremely justified for the amount of quality and attention to detail.

I experienced no FPS drops like the other review. I’m on an iPhone 6s. Love this game already.
Tenoto121,
Perfect vaporwave game
This game is extremely fun, at first I thought it would be bare bones, however the game becomes more complicated and the levels get really, really broad. As a long time fan of the vaporwave medium I’m glad that the game captures the essence of vaporwave in such a stylish manner. The sound track is on point. The level design reminds me of “lsd simulator”. (Except this game is really good) It really captures quite a few of the sub-genres of vaporwave in a remarkable way. Needless to say, I've been waiting for this game ever since the teaser trailer. It’s not only worth the wait but the price as well.
vinnyll,
Great, but a suggestion
it’s a fun game! i’m guessing through the description, touch controls was just released not too long ago. i love the simplicity of the game and the soundtrack is pretty killer, my only gripe is the controls. it would be nice to add another touch control being edge to edge steering and middle being jump. just a suggestion! bottle left steering and right jumping seems uncomfortable and the jump button is a miss sometimes. again great game though and hope you guys consider it through much updates
yeety mcgee,
Very A E S T H E T I C
As soon as I saw the post for this game on the r/VaporwaveAesthetics sub I knew I had to get this. The music is absolutely amazing and matches the look of the game perfectly. Its a fun game to play and a good looking and sounding one as well. However, I find the emojis to be out of place yet thats only a minor issue and doesn’t completely ruin the game. I would also like to add that if there were more customizable options then I would be more hooked to this game. Despite its setbacks this game is still fairly new so I will continue to enjoy it and wait to see where it goes!
