It's like GoogleEarth for Mars!
I have wanted to go to Mars since I was a kid. I seriously thought we'd be there by the end of the last century. We don't have a human expedition to Mars planned until 2030. This is as close to the Red Planet as you and I are likely going to get. Zoom in on megalithic canyons in the Vales Marinares with a "bird's eye" sattelite orbital cam view. Exploring Mars virtually is highly addictive! I can't put it down! I want to explore every square inch of the planet!

Before I get into how amazing this app is, can I just mention you the moon globe is particularly good as well. Could you guys possibly make a Sun Globe? How amazing would it be to be from the vantage point of Our energy source, looking at all the planets it sustains. But great idea in general guys! Wish more people would take advantage of apps like this. Keep the planets coming

I Want to Go to Mars Now
I have Mars on my iPad. I have Mars on my iPad. I have Mars on my iPad. What more do you need to know? This is way beyond cool! The entire planet is mapped and annoted so you can easily find any named feature or turn off the labels and imagine youself cruising over the surface. Very, very happy with this app but it does really make me want go there. Maybe in my next life...

Wonderful Visual Experience
How fortunate are we that we can view Mars in all it's splendor and totality so beautifully in the palms of our hands?
One of my favorite views is setting my distance and pan as though I were in orbit. Simply lovely and awe inspiring!

I am really excited and impressed with this app! The one thing that I wish it had is the ability to zoom in closer. I wouldn't even care if the clarity was bad, I really just want that option! I’m a guy who is fascinated with the stars but this is way better than the nat geo telescope I use. It’s is amazing you people actually worked on this while other app makers go too fast amazing graphics everything and geological knowledge is amazing.

Accurate, responsive, and useful
I’m a science writer and I use this app all the time to figure out Mars geography. It’s easy to play with Mars’ rotation and the clock to determine what features are visible in any given image.

Can learn quit a bit!
You can click on the different "labels" on Mars and u get the details. Like they said, the pics are from the different rovers that have been OR on there right now (curiosity). They're very clear. There are dif options on the top left of the screen. It can keep u busy!

Wish the app had a screenshot feature.
The app itself is brilliant. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to take high resolution images of what is shown on the app screen. The standard screenshot feature on the iphone has way way too low of resolution for my purposes.

Great app
This is a great app for this space nerds out there. It could be so much better if they merged it with midnight planets. They could display the courses that the mars rovers and probes have taken and have pictures and panoramas included. Also have the orbits of satellites too.
