Fantastic App

A++ I have been using this app to track my (very long and irregular periods) for almost three years now. The longer you use it, the more accurate it becomes. I love the layout of it, the color/font design, and it is easy to navigate. The options to record symptoms, weight, and moods, too, are very helpful at detecting patterns in my body and emotional state during different phases of my menstrual cycle. One thing I would like to see: my cycles are sometimes over 45 days, but the app ignores them and grays those cycles out because it thinks I forgot to record a period in there somewhere. I’d like a function to tell it that the 48-or-whatever days was the full cycle length, so it will take that into account in its future predictions.

Cluttered with irrelevant ads

The actual content related to the app is good however it’s a real inconvenience to use when 50% of the time you open it a full screen ad pops up. In honesty it makes me want to use this app less frequently which I presume is not what the developers want. Most of the ads are for gaming and the last ad I was served was for an anime game that was about a cheating boyfriend...not really something that would resonate with the audience that use this app and certainly at an irrelevant moment. When I’m tracking my menstrual cycle do advertisers really believe I want to play a game right now?! Maybe consult a group of women first before another brilliant advertising idea gets approved🙄. Here’s some free advice- if they really need advertising dollars restrict advertisers to those that fit in relevant mindset such as tampons, profilactics, hearing pads, midol, pregnancy tests, etc etc.
Please don’t suggest I pay to “upgrade” to ad-free version. We as women are underpaid and overtaxed (see: PinkTax) so between that and what women spend in birth control, sanitary pads, etc per month- paying men for premium PMS motioning is just not gunna happen.

🎀I LOVE MAYA🎀

Just wanted to take the time out and write a review about this particular period tracking app called Maya. I LOVE IT💕 (unlike any other period apps that I’ve tried for a long period of time because they just didn’t work out for me............they didn’t have helpful tips like Maya does) because not only does it have helpful tips which is the number 1 thing I really love about it............it’s because I love the whole entire interface too😄 Maya is my go-to period tracker🎀 I’m using the free version of this app☺️ but could I see more themes that are free and not in premium? Again, thank you to the developer(s) for creating an amazing and cute app like Maya💗 I give Maya 5 stars✨ but this app deserves more tho😉🤩

The best app to track

I used this app for three years and then when I got a Fitbit I started using the tracker on there, big mistake. Maya becomes to understand your body and learns to go with your flow. The app on Fitbit was rigid and always horribly inaccurate, my period would always start a week early or later than the app said, and I tracked it for over a year with it. Maya is almost always on track or just off by a day. I appreciate being able to understand my body better and know what certain signs mean when it comes to vagina health. I pay for premium and honestly was surprised the price hadn’t changed in the year I was gone.

Best Cycle App

I’ve been using this app for about 10 years now to track my wife’s cycle. It all started when I knew I needed something to help me determine when my wife was fertile and when she wasn’t. I searched and searched. Finally, after passing up all the frilly frilly apps, I came across Maya. I thought to myself, this is an app I can share with the fella’s while explaining why I track my wife’s cycles. The Maya app has truly been a blessing to use. It has been a helpful, accurate gauge for what I need.

The data is great but....

I’ve been using Maya since 2015 and the data is incredibly accurate. It has never failed and continues to hold all of my info. The app itself has problems never fixed. Recently, I upgraded thinking maybe I’d have access to what wasn’t working, yet, I was wrong. The app doesn’t let me do much with it but log in my data. It crashes every time I press the notification bell and the chat button. Doesn’t allow me to contact support. After many years, the app is in need of a rework. I wish I hadn’t paid the subscription because it changes nothing but the pop up ad you get when you enter. It might be time to move on to a new app.

Excellent - the only app I use

I’ve been using this app for years now. My phone recently died and I was afraid I had lost all of my historical data. But I was able to recover my account and everything was there. The only improvement I’d say is what another reviewer said about tracking abnormally long periods - I’ve had that problem too and could only comment it in the notes because the app assumed it ended on time. Other than that, it’s perfect. Soothing in fact.

Helpful app to track period

I have been using Maya app for more than four years, changed three phones and still kept installed Maya back. Thank to registration, keeping my account is so easy. Maya calculates quite well, the more data I input, the more accurate it becomes. Very pleasant layout, cute and details, color coded so it is easy to see and know. I highly recommend this to all girls. The ads are picture only, very few and I can turn it off. Thanks the author and team, quite a high quality app. Love it! ^^-/

Best App So Far

I love that this app is simple, straightforward, and cute to look at! It was surprisingly difficult to find a period tracker app that I liked, but I think this is the one I’m going to stick with for a LONG time. I love that it gives little blurbs for each day, shows graphs of your cycle history, and is easy to change the dates around if a certain cycle is a little different than before.

I do wish there was an option to track exercise, but otherwise, I love this app!!

Accurate !

I’ve used this app since 2014 and it has accurately predicted my periods almost 98% of the time over the years(as long as you put information into it so it can calculate) . I bought the paid version years ago. I love this simple app. It’s the best period app I’ve used. Have used it to try to conceive but mostly used it to try to not get pregnant/ predict my period to make sure I’m not pregnant . I’ll be 30 in a couple of months…
