The Mayo Clinic ECG Study app allows Mayo Clinic patients who own an Apple Watch Series 4 or later to transfer data from Apple’s ECG app (via the Apple Health app and HealthKit) to Mayo Clinic in order to participate in an ECG research study conducted by Mayo Clinic. The objective of the study is to determine if the ECGs obtained from an Apple Watch are of sufficient quality to guide a person’s care.
You must be a Mayo Clinic patient with a Patient Online Services account and have signed a study consent form to use this app.

With this release, we've made it easier for you see when ECGs are being uploaded to Mayo Clinic and given you the ability to manually refresh the list. We also fixed some things behind the scenes to improve app performance and provide you with a better experience.
Application was successful in retrieving ECGs from 2019 but each time I try to upload new ECGs the little dial just spins and spins. I’ve done several ECGs in the last month and none of them are showing up. I don’t know how to provide feedback to the coders other than using this methodology.
Anorberg,
Bugs?
I’ve never had a problem with it until recently. When I try to sign in, it just keeps loading and loading and loading. So lately, I’ve had to keep deleting and redownloading the app in order to sign in everytime.
