MDWFP Hunting & Fishing Hack 2.5.7 + Redeem Codes

Between rules changing year-to-year, and me getting older and more forgetful, it’s very helpful to be able to open this app and make sure I’m hunting legally whether it be double checking a limit/possession count of ducks, or making sure I’m meeting the criteria for legal deer in whichever zone I’m hunting. When you hunt all over the state, and other states, it can get confusing. Great app!

Not sure about the problems that hindered the enforcement of game laws and rules at the upper sardis WMA for the last 5 plus years. There were deer being harvested that were not legal in antler size and hunters harvesting more than bag limit allowed. The last 5 years around the bagley lake i personally have not witnessed the presence of a game warden. Therefore the dear population took a heavy hit. Also the reserve area that were marked with blue markers was opened to hunting think in 2016 season with no posting on any of checking stations. This opening i believe was a mistake for it helped deplete the deer population. The local hunters were the only people i met that new restricted area was legal to hunt.I personally called the office in Jackson and they said they had no knowledge of this opening and advised me not to enter. I hope to not offend any one but always had great luck in this area for years last year you were lucky if you could find a fresh track crossing the sandy roads.

While I applaud the MDWF for even having an app with some useful information, this app could be so much better with basic fishing information, such as size and creel limits for fresh and saltwater fish species. All of this info is easily available so why is it not already included? This is really just a hunting app contrary to the title. Boating regulations, such as required safety equipment checklists, registration and renewal info, and licensing requirements would be another good addition. Again, all readily available info that would be housed in one convenient place. The money has already been spent to develop this app so please add useful info for the other half of the recreational population.

Apps seems great so far, but I would REALLY love it if it had a function to replace the daily use cards you have to fill out before every hunt. Something like that should be easy to make and would be a huge time saver since MDWFP is already converting that info to digit data.

I’m still exploring, but so far I like what I see. I wish they had a link to include saltwater info. I know it’s a different department, but let’s see some collaboration with DMR. Moon, tide, water temp and clarity would be great on that note. There are a couple of glitches (No back button in some places), but overall, GREAT tool.

Would also like to see license info perma-logged/on home screen after renewal for easy access when there’s no signal.

Renewing license just takes you to the website. Should be all in one. If you click on some of the icons the “back” button disappears and you have to close out the app to go to the home.

Other than those things, the app looks great, shows a lot of important information, and it’s easy enough to navigate. 4 stars!

The application did not remember my login information and I was required to reenter it. Then it asked for my hunter safety course information. I do not carry this with me. That is the purpose of using an app. I have hunted many times prior and get the emails to renew my license. This should be saved with fish and wildlife and connected to the app, so I do not need to reenter all the information and look up the hunter safety course again. This is very frustrating and requires a great deal of unnecessary time. The rest of the application seems to work fine.

Pretty easy to deceive consumers when you remove honest negative reviews. This app took my money and never mailed me my license and the app never had a record of my license. I called and emailed everyone I could but I never dealt with anyone other than typical inept government workers. I would like to state that under US federal law Consumer Reviews Fairness Act it is illegal to remove honest illegal reviews and I have reported the store, MDWFP, and the developer to the federal trade commission for engaging in the deceitful acts and filed a report also for the fraud committed. Enjoy. Buyer beware.

Love being able to have licenses with me as long as I have my phone, but think it would be better if I could add my boating (boating class) licenses too. So I’d have it all in one. Also- and/or have my spouses licenses on my phone incase they forget their phone. Just suggestions for future..

I think this should have been done years ago!! Awesome job at moving forward (digital) and making my hunting experience more convenient. Sometime I would have to drive the opposite way that I needed to go to turn in my slip after hunting WMA. Good job and more importantly good luck with the progress.
