This update brings Merge EDU apps up to date with our new universal UI design, allowing customers to have a better experience on more devices! iPad users will especially benefit from this change, as it improves the layout for both landscape and portrait orientations. The new universal UI is a core part of our upcoming Headset Mode release (coming soon), which will allow anyone to experience amazing passthrough XR with the Merge Goggles.

In this update, we’ve combined all Merge EDU apps under one subscription! Instead of purchasing multiple subscriptions (one for each app), you can now purchase one subscription that will unlock all the Merge EDU apps.
As part of this update, there’s a new sign in feature to ensure every user has access to their content, and additional resources like activity plans, STEM projects, and uploaded 3D objects on the Merge Dashboard.

The “stamp” and “place in world” features were misbehaving in some of the science simulations, so we’ve fixed them! There were also a few UI issues, so we fixed those, too.
Since this is a maintenance release, and we don’t have any exciting new features or announcements to share, we’ll leave you with a science joke:
What did one tectonic plate say when it bumped into another tectonic plate?
Sorry! My Fault.
