Jealousy

I love the enemies that are in here, so much in fact that I want them. Unfortunately, a lot of the enemies you see in the game you can't use. And I also was thinking about medals...... there is no way to get them without paying, and so since all the units you can buy come from medals, the only way to get medals is through paying.

Don't get me wrong, I love metal slug, but the developers (In my opinion) have stopped improving these games. Until apple and androids surpass these limits. At the moment, it's fine, but soon, it will slow down our devices. At that point in time, well, we'll have to say bye bye to metal slug........
In conclusion, metal slug was a good franchise while it lasted and the developers cared, but now, all it is (in my personal opinion) is just a glitchy time consumer that really isn't that addicting......

Great spin-off

This game does have its flaws, like some enemies you can’t use (the train robot, the plane in level 4 with the laser, the subway, etc.) but it still holds it’s own and deserves to be a split timeline to its garbage sequel (one timeline for perverted idiots, one for actual fans of the original games or Tagalongs like me, I’m willing to bargain here) and should get more updates if they can be done right. By the way, if you say the game is too hard, 1.Save up for good units all in the same class, you need an expensive powerhouse unit in your deck, and if they are all the same class, you get a minor health buff 2. Go back and free POWS, kinda grindy, but the buffs are worth it

Too many glitches and crashes !!!

I love metal slug and all they’re games! But one thing that has been happening is that I’m not able to play MSD because of all the glitching! As soon as I open battle, it just sends me back to home screen! And every time I reopen the app again, before I can even play, it takes me directly to the home screen of my phone. I will always love metal slug but because of this reason, I’m going to give it a one star review. I hope no one encounters these same exact experiences, but I do hope SNK or whoever is capable of fixing this problem, comes up with a solution in fixing this problem once and for all! May everyone enjoy their rest of the day.

Add codes for players to save their data

Developers can you please add codes for us so when ever we got a new device or play metal slug defense in another a device can you please add data codes for us for example 1457MT that's a example for players out there wo lost their data on the game and have to do everything again please add this feature so people won't lose their data.

Where's my previous event points? And updates?

Gameplay overall is fun and addicting yet , with the latest update, all my event points have been erased. Makes it harder to want to play a game that won't save your progress in all aspects of the game. It's fun at the beginning.

Although the new game Metal Slug Attack is out, this game should be updated as well or at least all my stats should be able to be transferred to the other App. The mechanics of this game are slower and the game suffers from slowdown. Even the graphics are not as pretty. Hope SNK will update this App too.

I been playing this game for 3 years now and last update was way to long ago and I miss this game a lot when every time was just fun there were players all over....... but now the game is dead and mostly nobody plays it, I hope one day this game gets an update ,and people will start playing it again ,and the game also died because of MSA

Read this!

Ok obviously this is a game for a person who lived his childhood playing metal slug. Yes the game crashes and has some issues but everyone who loves it (including myself) love it because it brings back so many good memories. So the value is not just in the gameplay but in the acute nostalgia that it brings to the fans of metal slug.

Bottom line, if you don't even know what Metal Slug is don't bother with this!

Can’t play due to screen

Downloaded this game and right off the bat it started crashing on me. When I finally got it to stay open I realized, like so many others here, that the game shows very small within my screen. I couldn’t make any adjustments in the options or, at least, I couldn’t see what they were because the font is so small. Ad is full size and startup graphic is fine. So what gives with the gameplay? Deleting and maybe I’ll try it again one day if they fix this issue

Nostalgic

I grew up playing Metal Slug with my dad on the PS1. This game brings back great memories and is a ton of fun! Never had any glitches or problems and it's really addicting. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because the in game purchases are super expensive! Everything can be obtained with in game currency so it's not that big of a deal. All in all, my favorite app on my phone.

Screen is too small

I remember playing this game a lot about 8 years ago and it was a great game and when I recently remembered it I went straight to the App Store to re get it . Unfortunately the game appears to not be functioning correctly and I can’t see the screen but the pop up add is normal which is a little annoying to say the least. Hopefully the creators of the content are working to resolve this problem and when or if they do I will change my star rating for the app.
