Metamorph is a scripture memory app that uses quick and simple games to help you learn the verse packs of your choice. Currently, Metamorph has four games to help you memorize some of the Bible's most powerful and meaningful verses. Over time we will be adding more games, packs, and features driven by user requests and feedback.
In our day and age, it is hard to find apps that utilize time and reinforce positive habits. They are out there but they are rare. Metamorph aims to be an app that is life-giving and helps you fill your mind with things above and center your day around scripture and what God is speaking to you through scripture.
The four games included are:
**Wall Defense**
Shoot the invading soldiers in the right order to complete the verse before the soldiers reach the city wall.
**Dot to Dot**
Select 1 of 3 words from a row to advance to the next row and complete the verse.
**Left or Right**
Choose the next word in the verse before time runs out.
**Pick and Choose**
Choose each set of words from the verse in order before time runs out.
Metamorph was born from the idea that scripture is one of the most powerful pieces of content that we can put in our minds. With so many other apps, media outlets, etc. vying for our attention we wanted to create an app that has a positive spin and is valuable to spend time on. Our goal is to add more to the app and make it a place of community over time with improvements and things to keep people coming back. We are excited for you to join us on the adventure!

Fun but buggy
I’m loving this app so far, it’s easy to jump in for a bit and review. And free ESV!
The app is a bit buggy though, especially the dot to dot game. The dots count spaces between sentences as words but the grader doesn't so they get out if sync. If you take too long, the app crashes.
Also I’m a bit weirded out by the red splashes in the defender game, it seems wrong next to a lot of Bible verses. I like the game because it forces you to slow down but I wish it had like a space invaders theme or something, not shooting at people.

Awesome except for version choices
I loved this app! 5 stars for that! However, I didn’t love the version choices which are available. 0 stars for actually helping me memorize scripture that I can understand. The only translation I’d even heard of is KJV, and I wanted something more current. Preferably NLT, as it’s my main reading translation.
I understand it can’t be free if we want to use a version that’s not in the public domain. I just didn’t see anyway to even pay TO do it. The games were fun, and almost made it seem like I wasn’t even learning. And that’s an awesome thing!!! 💗💗💗
In the end, I chose to use a paid app that’s less fun, but has a choice of translations I’ve actually heard of, use, and don’t make it sound as if I’m trying to be holier-than-thou when I quote it.

What a treat!
I love popping in for 5 min to get a chance to learn a new verse! It’s just a fun game where I know I’m using my phone as a positive distraction instead of just surfing.

Not working and I am sad
Unfortunately the drop down game is not recording my entries and the multiple choice games are missing some words of scripture. Please fix these things because this is a great app for adult use and it’s very kid friendly as well!

I deleted after 1 min. No NIV or NKJV.
I didn’t like having to create an account and log in. I would have kept the app for longer than a minute had one of the versions to choose from been the NIV or perhaps NKJV.
