Download the free Miami Pets app to search for cats, dogs, kittens and puppies waiting to be adopted into loving forever homes at Miami-Dade County Animal Services. The Miami Pets app helps you search for your perfect pet match by putting pet profiles and photos of available pets in the palm of your hand. The app also lets you save your favorites so that you can have them easily available to you when you come into the shelter to adopt.
With the Miami Pets App you can:
• Share a pet’s profile and information through email and social media to help you in your adoption decision.
• Search for and find a lost pet that may have been brought to the shelter.
• Help save lives of shelter pets by networking them through social media to help get more pets adopted.

Unable to sort...
Seemingly well made app as it contains a lot of information in addition to adoptable pets. Not sure why the weather was thrown in. I prefer the online PetHarbor website because I am able to quickly sort which dog I am interested in, i.e. small, female, any age. How often is this app updated? As often as PetHarbor? It would also be appreciated if someone can take a decent picture. Many of the pictures are excellent, whereas others are pathetic. One picture showed the dog on the other side of the room, one showed the dog laying on a concrete floor, another showing the dog sitting cowardly in a corner, and so forth.

Key features missing- good app overall
Needs a notification feature for keyword search. Say I'm looking for a poodle, I should be able to create a notification when a new one is brought in.

This app is very helpful when your looking for a dog or cat to find them their loving home. This app helped me find my best friend ROSIE a terrier mix that is 3 years old and she is the perfect dog. She is loving and sweet. So if your looking please use this app to find your best friend

Great App!
Incredibly user-friendly and accessible, this app allowed me to see the dogs available for adoption at the shelter. Additionally, their database of pet-friendly hotels and dog parks is a great feature that I will definitely be using in the future!

Good, wish you could sort
Un able to sort by breed or sex of animals. But still a good app.

This is great! Much easier than going thru Petharbor. Can you add a search by ID and or dog name? And maybe Pod number too 😊

MDASolease fix the app!!!!
The app hasn't work in a while. It has some glitches and right now it doesn't show picture of any dog. Needed to be fix since this is a great way to help dogs in need
