A beautiful, buggy messterpiece
I was hasty in my initial judgement. Partly because I went in expecting this to be the same as the first Mini DayZ. However, this game, as an idea, is incredible in its own right too. Melee and zombie avoidance becomes much more viable unlike the first Mini DayZ, and there’s this legitimate feeling of fear that arises as you struggle to gather whatever scrap and materials you can to upgrade your base. And the base building mechanic itself isn’t terrible at all. The currency “Fuel” doesn’t actually allow you to become a pay to win player, rather it simply lets you upgrade buildings that can heal your survivors and repair your items at a faster rate. Of course, there are still bugs. At the early stages of your base, sometimes you won’t be able to upgrade your buildings even though nothing is being upgraded at the time, or you have enough lumber. And the item icons sometimes glitch onto your screen while dragging them across and into your inventories. Other times, you might become glitched while leaving a zone, and will be forced to close the game window and reopen it. But all in all, there’s a much more encompassing feeling of DayZ on mobile that’s done much better here than the first Mini DayZ. To that, I say, well done developers.

Hype train wreck
I’ve never been so excited and then disappointed like this in a game ever since no mans sky. Mini day z is one of my most favored games of all time, in fact I remember being among the very first people to write a review for the first game. What really bothered me about this sequel isn’t the bugs I would’ve still rated it 5 stars if it were only bugs, sadly that isn’t the case. The reason this sequel is such a failure is because of the fact that it lacks the very meaning of mobile gaming since you require a constant internet connection this is a survival game not some moba. I’d prefer to buy the game for 7$ than to play an online version of it.

Honestly the game isn’t even that complex so I assume you made it this way so that people wouldn’t use the calendar glitch to speed run thought it, and watch ads instead. But you made a big mistake with this attempt, because people used to watch ads more frequently on the first game to obtain special rewards the fact you need constant internet will be the downfall of this sequel. Now much like most dedicated mobile gamers I will have to delete the game until this problem is fixed because it’s just taking up storage at this point most mobile gamers don’t have time to waste on an online survival game like this. Also we would appreciate if you didn’t waste our time please mention the fact that you need constant internet connection in description. What you’re doing is similar to false advertisement.

Extremely Laggy Multiplayer
I have been waiting for this game for a while, and let’s just say it wasn’t what I was expecting. But before I address what I see to be the negatives I’m going to talk about what improved from the last game, MiniDayZ 1. The combat system is much more skillful and the maps are more indulging and random. But I feel like the developers took a step back when they removed the sandbox world along with simplifying the health system from it having blood, food, water, and temperature. Now it’s down to a health bar, one food bar, and apparently morale? The base system is quite oversimplified as well as the “resources”. And honestly I think that’s the problem, the game is too simplistic. What makes games like dayz and project zomboid (the two games this represents) is how complex and indulging they are. I would love to see more complicated base building elements and a free base building mechanic. An open world would be great too. Anyways if the Developers want to talk about ideas and concepts for the game you can comment below and I can discuss via discord. An overall good game but has improvements to make, like anything that ever existed😉.

It’s fun but.... (updated)
Mini dayz 2 is great and all but their are some bugs that are holding me back. I like the survivor camp concept and raiding places but I can’t raid much when I keep getting booted out of the game trying to upgrade a building. This game has a lot of potential but it feels like the bugs are what’s holding it back. Their are wait times in the game, it gives me a feel of “State of Decay” gameplay. Concept: Lastly I miss the perk system, it adds a lot into the game and instead of running around with plain characters. perks allow people to build what kind of characters they want, maybe they want a tank who can obliterate zombies, or a ninja class where the character can use walking speed while crouching and is blind to zombies while crouched, also a recon character, where they have a wider fov and have 2x luck to find items while raiding.

The game is fully functional and amazing, I love being able to play the game and now with CO OP? Oh man it’s a real game changer. Thanks to the devs for not only fixing the building bug, but adding amazing new features into the game , can’t wait for the next update, keep up the great work.

Pretty great
I loved the first mini dayz and this sequel is great too. Still more or less the same game but with new features like a home base that you return to after every “raid” and you can craft and repair stuff even heal your little guys at this HQ as well. There is one thing though, in the first game there was a perk system where you would get points by surviving, and you could spend those points on perks, and that was cool. But in this game, thats no longer a feature, and I’m hoping in a future update they bring that back. What I’m about to say next is just a little personal complaint of mine but um… I found a outfit, it was called the “mechanic” outfit and it gives you +15 carry space. It was super useful and I thought it was awesome. But then I died, and you lose everything when you die so understandably I was pretty upset about this. So I just wish that there was some way I could watch an ad to save my stuff. Anyway this is a great game, it’s challenging, and fun, and I can’t wait to see what will happen next. I recommend that you get this game and check it out.

I like the idea of the first one
To be honest I like the idea of the first MiniDAYZ was going for. I like that feel of trying to survive and looting to sustain health. It really show what a survival game on mobile devices could have been. Now from MiniDAYZ 2 eeeeeeeeh now it went to your average collect resources to build your base apps I’ve seen which is now pretty boring now. Sure the first has some bugs but it was a good real survival game. I hope if there a three it would use the idea back from the first but with a generated map instead having go too same islands with random locations, have a save of some sort and you can play with friends in that generated world and with random quest but hey it’s just an idea. Now about about MiniDAYZ 2 it’s not bad but as I said the gameplay isn’t really my style, as I was downloading MiniDAYZ 2 I thought it was gonna be like the first game, your put on the same island with randomly generated locations and survive as long as possible. Hope to see were mini series would go and hope to see if it would go back with its original idea with improvements.

MiniDayz1 but mobile-ized
This game has a lot of potential. As a major fan of the original MiniDayZ, I can say that the core gameplay is similar, but what the developers have done is tried their best to profit off of the MiniDayZ concept. Gone is the feeling of adventure, gone is the feeling of true, organic progression, and gone is the feeling of triumph after having collected gear.

The idea of a “base” you return to is excellent but in this case it is executed both cheaply and in a way that prioritizes frustrating you with wait times in the hopes that you pay them money to skip these wait times. They have added game features (sneaking, home base, crafting and repair) but removed several of the things that made the original game feel like a real mobile adventure game (crafting in real time, character perks, exp collection). If you liked the original MiniDayZ because it felt like a real free-to-play adventure game, this is NOT the game for you. I loved MiniDayZ 1 and had to uninstall this after only a few hours of play. The way they set this up incentivizes you to pay money in the way most mobile games do and it is just DISAPPOINTING with how much potential is here.

Oh also the game is only playable if you have an internet connection.

Combat is horrible
I’m writing this to tell people the simple truth about this game the combat and zombie damage output makes the game a joke first off you start the game with no armor a pistol and about nothing else you immediately have to do missions to fight no problem but here’s the kick you almost always have to use stealth to survive other wise you risk you mowed down by a horde of zombies who do way to much damage meaning by the time your done you’ve gotten almost no loot and are about to die and once you die you lose everything you brought with the surviver and the loot and then you need to heal them and rest them until you do anything else. Now I have no problem with fighting and stealth but when a single zombie takes one giant chunk of your health bar and there’s zombies everywhere it’s a freaking joke as of now I’m quitting and returning to the first mini days and am not returning until they fix the combat and change zombie damage output I give it 2 stars cause they tried with the game and put effort into the game but the combat makes it 2 stars for me.

The worst game for anyone to play
First of all the game is the worst game I ever played starting from just the base layout it’s so basic, then looking into how entities spawn in game is absolutely absurd, for example I was afking for a few seconds in a building far from where zombies check, and I still get killed losing all the stuff I earned and took so much time. And lastly the combat is completely driving me insane. Half of the time I’m next to zombies trying to kill them and I’d miss my hits but if the zombie ever goes near and far away from hand reach they would still hit me and completely slowing me down and having me killed, causing anger due to the terrible mechanics. I don’t understand why a hoard of zombies would spawn in the middle of empty streets, and near where the player spawns when deployed into a match, and a lack of zombies in crucial areas such as buildings etc. This game shouldn’t be played by anyone who value their life, time, and emotions. Anyone playing this game would experience first signs of rage over a mobile game. In conclusion of this terrible game, never play it, you’ll thank me and you’ll save your own sanity.

Do U know Project Zombiod can’t spell name correctly but u get the name( I hope ). Do u think you can follow some of that games idea b/c I think it can really inspire your game much more and I love games like this. But I like the first version of your game b/c u have no base and no one and I think that’s the idea of the basic of your survival in the beginning. I think u should work on the inventory more b/c I hate how I can’t store so much even if I have another gun to pick up. I think u should be able to carry more guns but it takes more space u know? I love this game idea u have so far so u don’t have to change it that much and maybe try to see the reason your first version of this game has a higher rating and see why people love that more maybe u can get some idea from that too. I’m here to help u get your game better to be more fun in the future and keep up the good game work :)
