How it works:
Step 1. Rotate the dial to set the timer (or set it to 00:00 to activate the stopwatch)
Step 2. Press the Start button. That's it!
Step 3. You can Pause/Resume the timer pressing the Start button. If you want to reset the timer just TAP & HOLD the Start button or Shake the device when Paused.

This is one of the best timers/stopwatches I have ever used. Unlike Apple's stock "Clock" app, this timer not only visually stimulates you with fun-to-use stunning graphics, but it allows you to visually see how much time is left on the timer by filling in a fraction of a circle. This is very easy for people like me, especially since I am a debater, because it allows me to see roughly how much time I have left in my speeches, without me having to constantly look down at numbers. Visuals have never let me down; especially when you don't have time to think about numbers (and/or you don't want to read the numbers) of how much time is left.
I gave this app 4 stars because it still can't complete with full functionality of Apple's stock app, which I'm surprised the developers haven't gone full out to make a replacement of the stock app that both excels in design and functionality. There are features that could be added such as the ability to have pre-set timers, pre-set alarms that would eventually make it the best timer/stopwatch app available. I will say, however, that I very much appreciate the meticulous details in design that make this app a great, if not the best app for its category in terms of design. For $0.99, an impressive array of other wonderfully designed "timers" are available with just as impressive designs and sounds -- making extra bells and whistles (on top of the amazing price of free) nice and cheap.

Ten second increments, not ten minute
Just wanted to counter an incorrect statement in a previous review. This timer works in 10 second increments, not 10 minute increments.
Anyway, it's a solid timer and easy to use. It would be nice to get an update though, it's been almost two years.

It's a simple timer, but it's exactly what I wanted.
Really, it's a simple egg timer. You spin it to the time you want, in increments of 10 second intervals. It counts down, and ticks off the last 10 seconds, with an alarm sounding at time's end. I went though 3 apps before finding this one, and it does exactly what's advertised. The multiple skins are cute, each with different alarm bells. Even worth buying the extra skins. The perfect little timer. I use it for my physical therapy exercises that need to be exactly timed.

Simple and useful
For setting a short-duration alarm you can't beat this app. Twirl your finger around the dial, press the button, and you're done. That's the best part, the simplicity of the interface in contrast to other apps which force me to spin slot-machine wheels or go through two or three other steps when all I want to do is set a quick 3-minute timer for my tea. And unlike orher free timers there are no adds. I would gladly pay $5 for this to keep it ad-free.

I don't know what the previous person is talking about. It runs in the background when you're in other apps. But it'll only ding once when the time is up. But when you go back into the app it will be going off as it normally would if you had kept it on the app.

Lacking some timer function
Nice app, however no true "reset" on timer. When using press & hold start to "reset" timer, it reverts back to stopwatch and then you need to reset the clock to the time you want. I facilitate meetings in which each party has a specific period of time to present case. Straight forward timer reset is critical. Add actual timer reset function, will give five stars.

Great
Simple, elegant. I've tried several times over the years. They all work, but this is the first timer that I have an actual emotional response to in relationship to the design, process and sounds. Great job. That said, I would like the timer to remember a few set times.

Nice and simple
It does it's job wonderfully, taking the place of a nice, simple timer. Sure, you could use 30/30, but I like this one when I don't want to make it complex. Plus, you get it's full functionality, minus skins, for free. I like it. Try it out if you're curious. It's a quick, free download.

My FAVORITE Timer
I LOVE this timer! I love it's simplicity and intuitiveness. I keep it on my main iPhone screen and, as a mom, use it all the time.
My only improvement would be for it to interrupt all apps and wake from sleep with a loud, continuous alarm vs. the one short alarm sound.

Perfect for short Intervals
This is the timer I use when the time is short, such as a study break, making pasta, or similar quick intervals. Why? Because it is quick to set and has a nice alarm sound.
