Super helpful
The only knock I have on the app is that you need jumplists to get through all of them. Really long lists on a phone need a way to quickly skip ahead and this doesn’t have a way to do it.
But the quick ability to tap what I have and it shows me what to make is fantastic. Really well done. The UX is a little weird in that I have to keep remembering not to hit back, but it works really well.

Was a 5 now a 1 (would vote zero if I could)
This used to be one of the most useful apps when playing Skyrim, I could select an ingredient, then pick an effect and see what other ingredients to combine with to get that effect. It does not appear to work anymore for what I used it to do, one can argue "well then its just a cheater app", well there are plenty of websites that do the same thing and even know a guy who wrote one himself. I will not even go into the other stuff that I found that made me think this once wonderful app has gone to hell. This is about as disappointing as when Lutz sold Reflector to RedGate. Im uninstalling and moving on.

I originally wrote a post without going through the entire app first. You do have all the DLC ingredients and that truly made my day (click on settings to add the DLC one) thank you thank you and as promised, I reviewed with 5 stars! I hope when Bethesda comes out with the next elder scrolls your team will create another app. I will buy that one too!

A user manual for concocting
Definitely worth the purchase. The free version will not meet your needs. The lab feature helps to streamline and direct your ingredient hunting. I do wish that the app could somehow sync with the game data so that I didn't have to scrub my ingredients list after every alchemy session, but that will never happen. On the whole, a very useful app.

this app is very useful, especially its "laboratory" feature, which lets you maximize the money you can make from the ingredients you have to hand.
the laboratory feature has always had usability problems. you must constantly go back and forth between ingredient-editing and recipe-reading, and the transition takes several gestures. It would be much nicer if the ingredient list and the best recipe were on the same screen.
in the current version, ingredients seem to appear and disappear in the ingredient list, which means you're no longer getting good advice about which recipes you should make. sometimes it seems to "just happen". sometimes it seems that scrolling the ingredient list is triggering these changes.

THE absolute best Skyrim alchemy resource available! This app brings together a full database of all ingredients and effects, as well as help figure out all the ingredients you'll need for that next wondrous potion, or lethal poison. Nothing on any other website or program comes close. This is a must-have app for the avid Skyrim player.

I like the app very useful but even though I know the result I don't know how long the potion is or how much it will give me like say I make a restore health and stamina potion how much will it restore my health and stamina or if I poison my enemy how long does the poison remain these things are very important so I know if you do this it will be very helpful thank you

No iPad Landscape, No Search Function- Otherwise great.
I just got around to playing Skyrim- I know, I'm late to the game (literally). This app is very useful- although without landscape support or a search feature, you will be looking and scrolling, and scrolling, and.... Could be a 5 star app- If not having landscape not being able to search doesn't bother you- this is a 5 star app for you.

Could use one or two tweaks
Most importantly, ingredients should list any relevant effect multipliers. Would save having to go to the uesp wiki. Shouldn't be that difficult to add. The lab should also show an exhaustive list of possible potions given the parameters chosen.

This app is the most helpful app so when you need to know how to make a certain potion you can just pull up this app and look for the effect. Everybody needs this app. :)
