My MG hasn’t even been delivered yet, but I’ve been reading and YouTubing everything relating to the MG. This is my first synth and will basically be used in a studio. For the heck of it, I searched my iPad for an app, not expecting to find anything useful. I was very surprised to see this MG Course by Ask Video! It is a must have for people new to this instrument, and possibly for anyone owning a MG. Rishabh demonstrates how every knob, switch, and module affects its sound. Obviously that’s something written instructions can’t do. I watched the presentation all the way through. I didn’t time the duration, but seemed to take 40 minutes to a hour, which (considering the price) was longer than I expected. This course covers a lot of ground and moves along pretty good. The nice thing is that there is a menu which breaks it down into sections, making it easy to find what I need to reference. Rishabh does an excellent job demonstrating patch cording between modules and the creativity potential of the MG. I hope Ask Video will offer compatibility updates as the iPad software versions progress. I doubt you will be disappointed!
