My Health Toolkit is the easiest way to access your BlueCross benefits.
 
What’s included:
ID Card: Access your BlueCross ID card on the spot — you can even send it to your doctor.
Benefits: See what’s covered by your health plan.
Claims: View the status of your claims in real-time and verify the amount you may owe for a service.
Find Care: Find a doctor or hospital in your network.
Spending accounts: Check the balance of your health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement account (HRA) or flexible savings account (FSA).

Who can use this app:
--If you are a member of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina or BlueChoice Health Plan, this app is for you.
-- If you are a member of a different BlueCross plan, this app may be included. Just check the back of your insurance card to see if “My Health Toolkit” is part of your health plan’s website.
This app supports all medical and dental benefit plans administered by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and BlueChoice Health Plan. This app also supports some large employer plans administered on behalf of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, BlueCross & BlueShield of Rhode Island, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, Capital Blue Cross and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Each of these Blue Plans is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
 
The app supports most of our members, but will not work for the following:

Useful app with responsive developers
Had a problem with the Find Care option disappearing but after contacting support it was fixed within a couple days. All in all the app is quite useful. The only issue I have is the info for providers is more often than not out of date and limited. Would be very helpful to have more accurate provider profiles with up to date numbers, specialty info etc. As it is you can just Google the provider to find what you need once you know they are in network.
Billing side of app is very helpful and organized

Love this app ! Everything I need is right in the app. Recently my app has been stuck in loading and I can’t get to my information. Once that’s fixed I would definitely rate the app 5 stars !

Great and helpful
This app has helped me find everything I need, from mental health to my physical health. It’s easy to use and I love that I can find doctors for what I need them for within my network. No more calling every office to see if they are in network !

I have used this app for at least a few years, and appreciate it so much! It is so useful for paying my monthly premium, accessing my insurance card, and viewing my benefits & claims, too! I love that this is ALL available right here- in this app on my phone!

Useless and always broken
This app is terrible. It contains almost no information other than to tell me what my deductible is. Other insurers make it easy to look up estimated costs for procedures and to pursue preauthorization, but this app is completely opaque and many of the basic links do not work at all (for example, “look up a provider” sends me to a browser, then a pop up window which won’t open).

The app doesn’t even work
When I click to the app it goes to a black screen, after trying to use the app several times and re-starting the phone without success, I decided to uninstall the app hoping that after reinstalling it I’d be able to finally get in, but I was wrong! The app is not in my phone anymore and I can’t even re-download it because the only button available is “open” that doesn’t work BECAUSE IT’S DON’T HAVE THE APP !

Much Improved!!
I was shocked to see 3.0 stars! I actually love this app, and it has everything about your entire health insurance policy accessible in one app. You see your health claim, pharmacy claims, and even the EOB build into the app. I rarely have to contact BCBS because of this app.

Works well 99.9% of the time.
The only real issue I have encountered occurs when Apple updates phone software. It wipes out my passwords.

Other than that. Very pleased with it.

Face ID does not work
The app functions mostly fine but the face ID login does not work and has been like this for months. This has to be an easy fix?? It’ll recognize my face and try to login but then generates an error message so I have to type in my password manually.
