Absolutely a lifesaver!
This curricula has helped me get through my first year of teaching in a title 1 inner city school. Teaching life skills to my students showed a decrease in incident reports at my school and I noticed more positive interactions between students. After having gone through the activities, like “People Bingo” and “If I Were...”, students were more teachable and began to put their guards down. I learned that there will be good days as well as bad days in teaching, but having Overcoming Obstacles makes a huge difference in changing the climate of my classroom and the school. Thank you, OO!

It’s Essential
Overcoming Obstacles gave me the chance to succeed in the classroom and helped me through my hardships at home while I was in High School. I then became an educator and used overcoming Obstacles life skills curricula to teach my students critical skills such as how to communicate, how to set and achieve goals, and how to manage their emotions. Without the Overcoming Obstacles life skills program I would not be the successful young man I am today!
