Busy Mamu,
Great! But...
I think this app is very useful. I can always get the type of pollen and the low medium and high warning. The pollen list is in order of it’s intensity. This is my first go to app in preparing my day of the possibility for allergy medication. The limitation that disappoints me is not being able to get this information in an area I’m not currently physically in. I want to check the pollen in Eugene, OR when I’m home in Oakhurst, CA. If I could get that information from this app I would give you a 5 star rating and be telling everyone about this app not to mention how helpful this would be to me personally.
CCfmATL,
Not as useful as it could be (and maybe inaccurate)
The app is simple to use and generally fine at documenting/forecasting high pollen levels. I say “generally” because, compared to the daily pollen counts posted by Atlanta Allergy Center (1) The exact numerical pollen count is not included in the app (understandable for a forecast for the following day, less so in day), and (2) The major pollens are off. The app has been saying Elm is the major pollen locally, with Juniper and Maple also being high, whereas the pollens observed by the Allergy Center are Oak, Pine, Juniper, Maple and Birch. Elm is not listed, which makes sense because Elm trees are not as common here in the Atlanta area and in the South as they are further north (there are some for sure, but likely not enough to make Elm pollen the major contributor to the pollen count or forecast).

Additionally, grass and mold pollens are not noted in the app. Maybe they will be as they become more significant contributors. Grass pollens and mold are actually present in low quantities now (again according to the Allergy Center) which is important to know since I am sensitive to some grasses and mold.

I am shocked that there are not better allergy apps available considering the millions that suffer year around. I will say Pollen Pro, at least functionally and design-wise, is one of the best of a very weak crop.
Digital Ivy,
Disappointed
Purchased app based on screen shots. First off, it IS helpful for seeing what pollens are affecting an area during the day before going out. However, adding “journal entries” to track how you were affected by the pollens that day only gives you the ability to choose a 1 through 4 sad to happy face rating. It doesn’t keep track of the pollens that were active on that date. Tapping on older data only prompts you to change how you were feeling that day. Being in the military we move around a lot and I can’t know every seasonal pollen in the US that could possibly affect me. At least if I could add to a text box for the date I was tracking and add what the pollens were that day, so I could then go back and read it, I’d have an idea of what was bothering me. But really, what would be more ideal is clicking on old data should show me how I was feeling that day AND what the pollens were.
Jujujamaica,
So helpful and amazing.
Love this app, check it every day and use the widgets. Would love a feature on being able to add what I know I’m allergic to, to get personalized notifications on days those allergies are popping. Like an extra, “look out” warning. Because some days can be medium, but nothing I’m allergic to. Definitely love the app though, as is. :) highly recommended on getting the paid version too.
QuarterSwede,
Great iOS app, Needs Complication support for Watch
Great iPhone app that’s easy to use with a good UI (and much better than the other popular pollen tracking app). The map is fantastic for travelers especially.

However, I’m bummed that there isn’t a complication for Apple Watch, at least not one that I can find. Something that would show the current pollen count or level. Above and beyond would be infograph complication support to show the current and forecast counts (like weather). That would make it above and beyond the best pollen app out there.
Mission107 (mc ftw),
Past pollen counts
I am curious if it would be possible to see a visual on past days even if I’ve not entered an entry every day. I know the pattern I have and don’t always enter information but seeing what forecasts have been for a given day or week last year or a few months prior would be super handy to have. If this is a feature I’ve missed please let me know. Thank you!
drtruth20020,
Good, but would like to write a note on it.
This is a good app for Seasonal Allergy / year round Allergy is sufferers. The map is very helpful, and I can use it on my phone when moving place to place. I like the ratings on how high allergens are, and also like seeing the names. One thing though: it would be helpful if the app allowed me to write notes about the severity— or not— of my allergies. It says “Diary” at the bottom, but the app only allowed me to leave a date along with some information— not much— for that day.
Nickname999555,
Great app but cannot save more than 1 location
Great app but I live in one area and have to keep going back and forth between two different places. I always have to constantly reset custom location and should be able to set several like in weather apps. Is there any way to save several different places on this app? Would save a lot of my headaches. I live in one area but work in another most of the week.
Tammy-HP,
Favorite Allergy App
I really like the map with an indicator of where I am, anytime. It also has a diary to keep up with your symptoms, thus have fair warning as to what time of year you will, most likely, have them again and can be prepared.
This app is how’s you exactly what is prevalent along with photos so you can steer clear.
CplusK,
Inaccurate
The free version seemed to work well, and I wanted it to show up on my Apple Watch, so I purchased the “pro” version. Wish I hadn’t. Mine always shows “low” allergens, even when I’m experiencing symptoms of allergies. I finally started checking the allergen count on this app against other sources, and I found that this app is wildly inaccurate. Mine has yet to change from “low,” despite this past entire week being high in several areas. I’m connected to my home WiFi and am positive the issue is not with my phone or connection. I think this app is a rip-off, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
