The Latin Quarter
A journey into the timeless ancient and medieval Paris along its shopping streets and other lively spots, and there iconic monuments such as the Pantheon and the the Arenas.
Located in the 5th arrondissement between the Seine and the Sainte Genevieve mount, the Latin Quarter is one heritage site in Paris that you must not miss. The foundation of the Roman city of Lutetia, the remains of which can be seen at the Cluny thermal baths and at The Arenas, the Latin Quarter was later built in the Middle Ages. With the Pantheon, it is also a place that symbolises the Republic.
The Marais
This tour will take you through the Marais district, around its monuments, heritage and fashionable addresses. Stroll along the streets of a lively place that has many facets.
Located on Paris's Right Bank between part of the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, Le Marais gets its name from an old swampy area occupied from the 12th century by religious orders. The Marais has a very important historic core. From the elegant Place des Vosges to the Philippe Auguste bulwark, discover all about the heritage of the sites that marked the 18th century and the French Revolution.
The Ile de la Cité
Come explore and discover the origins of the city of the Parisiis on a tour in the heart of the capital, being the seat of royal power in France.
The Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis actually form the centre of Paris. Being the seat of royal power until the 14th century, there still remains today this rich heritage to visit in the Ile de la Cité, including the most famous example, the Notre Dame. This proposed route blends history, anecdotes and other quirky locations. From the Pont Neuf to Chanoinesse Street you will discover these wonderful places during this tour.
