I seem to have underestimated how popular Landscape mode was! So this update brings back Landscape mode for all users, along with an automatic resizing function to make it a little easier to use in different orientations.

Great app, needs some organization
I’ve always struggled with character names and deciding on certain minor details, so this is a perfect app for me. I purchased “All Generators” without hesitation and was mildly disappointed that I have to search an entire alphabetical list (or use the search bar, if I know exactly what I want) to find a specific generator. I’ll still definitely be using this app (I just spent $20 on it) but I’d appreciate if a future update could group the generators back into the bundles that were displayed before I purchased them, as I don’t always know exactly what I want and would love to just open, for instance, the Fantasy Races Bundle to see what’s available.

Hey, developer! I have a different app called Notes Writer Pro. When the name generator in that app failed to generate for me, I had to go looking for a different way to generate names. I searched the App Store and came across your app! I knew that I just had to unlock everything, so I went ahead and purchased all the generators currently available! For the time I’ve been using it, I really like the fact that I can choose a generator and generate a random name from all the possibles. I’ve also discovered in my exploring of it that I can tap on any characteristic and it will also give me a different result in tapping a field individually. Your app is fine. Nothing so far is wrong. I’m actually reviewing this in hoping to pass on a suggestion to development: Implementing a Set First Name and Set Last Name field just underneath the explainer text for every generator. {If your toying with a likable first name, but don’t know a last name, this feature would be helpful to set the first name, and generate a last name. And vice versa.} I also have another suggestion for a generator. Every time I go to hit Suggest a Generator and hit Send Suggestion, it automatically migrates me to the default e-mail app. I use the Yahoo Mail app for my e-mail. Could you please respond to my suggestion and provide the e-mail address associated with Suggest Generator in Developer Response? I can manually enter the address in the To Field.

Wonderful App and Developer; An Overdue Review
As a character artist and writer I’ve used this app for years for inspiration for tidbits of traits and entire characters.
Even if the idea I get isn’t perfect, I can change it to where ever my idea curves and takes me.
On a previous update my saved characters and all the generators had been locked as I had to pay for them again. I had previously paid the 20 dollars and should have all of them unlocked, but the updated erased that.
After finding the time to email the developer after school had finished, I emailed him about the issue. He was incredibly quick to respond! The developer had emailed be back near immediately and we got to work figuring out how to solve it. He quickly had a solution and I ended up with the generators all unlocked again on my account. Once again I had access to every generator I had previously purchased without needing to pay another $20 more. The developer was very polite and sweet and I wanted to note his kindness. He helped me solve the issue quickly and efficiently.
I could’ve sworn I had written this review but perhaps it was just a draft I forgot to send. Anyhow, this review is long overdue but this app is wonderful and so is the developer. I thank him greatly for his kindness!

What get rid of the landscape view and why rebuy
Ok so I’m glad this app got updated cuz I use it for a lot of my characters that I need help creating. But there’s an issue or two with this update: 1. The app makes u purchase the same packs you’ve already purchased before. I’m not sure if this is a glitch or not but this is really inconvenient because I’d already purchased this app and it’s pack before. This isn’t good at all. I’m going to ask for a refund of my money cuz it makes no sense to have to repurchase an app I already had before. And secondly the loss of the landscape view fir this app. With the previous update when I turned my phone or iPad to the side the app would do the same letting me see more of the generator I was using. This needs to be fixed cuz always using portrait mode with this app isn’t helpful. Though I do like that this app was finally updated after a long time of being the same & the print is bigger so it’s easier to see which is a plus. But I kinda which all of the creator generators: characterize, DungeonRoller, genesis, cartographer & heromaker were one app because that would be easier for creating characters though I get why it would take so long to do all that so I guess keeping them separate is fine. Anyway hopefully the creator fixes these issues.

Been using this app almost since it came out
Many years ago I got this & it has been a great help for writing and character creation. I love it! My biggest issue, however, is that it would be amazing if the custom generators were more visually optimized, i.e. currently the font is very large, there is a lot of un-utilized empty space, main category labels are not editable, categories are forced to be in alphabetical order (which often is *not* the most logical order (e.g. eye color, enchantment, hair color), and there is no option to add a generator description.
Making a good generator also often involves a wide variety of items under each category made (when applicable), but I end up scrolling for a long time to get the category I need to edit (in part because of the points I mentioned before).

It's quite fun but....
There are some problems, like if you have the app open too long and try to edit a character, it replaces the another saved character with the unedited version of the one you were editing. And sometimes when you purchase a pack, it acts like you already had except you used "restore purchases". Besides those problems it's a good and helpful app for generating characters. I have one personal problem, you have to purchase a lot of things and I think at least there should be more free generators to be able to have an advantage against the competition. All in all it's a very useful app.

Amazing app, custom generator could be improved
I LOVE this app whenever I need a quick character made for me. It is extremely useful and convenient. Then there’s the custom generator.. it is fine. I wish there was a bit more customization that came along for it which I wouldn’t be opposed to paying an extra buck or 2 for that, but it feels a bit lacking right now. Just being able to change the icon or change the color would be nice. Over all great app just wish the custom generator had some more work done on it.

Great app and helpful developers!
I love this app and have used it a multitude of times, even there was some major issues in the past. I had bought all of the generators, and for the longest time when I open the app it said I only had two. Thankfully, I reached out to the developer and I was happy to see that they were very kind and helpful. This issue was fixed quickly and I am happy to say that I am now able to use this app to the fullest once again. I would recommend this app to any writer that needs a spark of inspiration for characters in any story they may create!

They totally changed it in a way that makes it hard to used for iPads Pro. The old way when the iPad is on the side the page opens on its side and see the the results, here you have to have it standing and scroll to see them and they deleted all of my saved rolls, I’m a write I save them for work for my characters.
If your going to update it don’t change it for iPhone settings. And if you change DungeonRoller the same way I will hurt you.

And googling it does not help.

Paid, nothing unlocked.
I really like the design of this app. I think it's useful in a lot of ways to me. I thought I'd see how the paid bundles were, so I bought one. It showed up immediately and I figured it was worth the money. I purchased all the bundles for the discounted price which is still more than some apps with teams of people developing them, and nothing. I can't access any of them. The app wants me to now pay for each one. I tried restore purchases. Nothing. All I have unlocked is the one set that didn't come in a bundle. Feeling a bit ripped off here. I tried the app support page but it took me to devs blog not a support site. This would be a great app for writers and rpg players if it gave me what I paid for.
