Good but not great...
Was excited to see this app as navigating the Westmed website on the phone can be challenging sometimes since it’s not a mobile site. Loving the app (although it just logged me out due to inactivity while I was actively using it!) but I would love to see a feature to stay logged in or to at least log in with touch-id.

Not Convinced
The Westmed Group is such a great organization that it shocks me that its app isn’t on the same level. First, I have two profiles to manage, one for myself and my daughter who is only 2 years old. It would be extremely helpful to be able to access both profiles while signed on once like you are able to do on the web. Also, every time there is an update to the web portal, I get incorrect billing alerts. Both in the app and on the web. It says I have balances for bills that have been paid with confirmation from a call with billing. The app needs some time and work to be just as great as the group.

Great addition - future request
This app is a great addition to the redesigned WestMed Patient Portal. I was always disappointed that they didn’t have an app available. There are a few UI issues especially on the iPhone X, but I anticipate they will get ironed out - nothing that makes the app unusable. I do however hope that embracing the App Store is a sign that WestMed will be supporting Apple Health integration for patient records in the coming future.

Not too good
Logs you out in minutes, and you can’t even log in using Face ID so you gotta type everything back in! Every banking app for years has allowed face or Touch ID for years, but for some reason not this app??
Secondly, when you write messages to doctors, there’s no spell check in the field like there is in virtually every other app you enter text.
Finally, you inexplicably can’t make appointments through the app. Makes no sense.

Not so great.
I was really excited to see there was an app to keep up with my appointments and my doctor, but it hasn’t really helped me at all
I have to log back in every time I exit the app, I NEVER get any notifications - my doctor sent me a message and I didn’t see it until a month later, and you can’t even make appointments in the app (it takes out of the app to the website). This definitely needs a lot more work.

Can’t communicate
The feature that allows to send a message directly to my doctor doesn’t work. The field to input the name of my doctor doesn’t have options to choose from. After writing my message, then “send” button stays grayed out, and doesn’t allow for the message to be sent. Also, all the fields have no information. No info on prescriptions, test results, nor medical history. Was I suppose give some permission to access this info on the app?

I’ve tried making appointment & when I call to confirm they can’t find it. I sent my provider an email & never got a response.

I CANT SIGN IN
I tried to sign in and reseted my password about 7 times. And it does not work i can sign in on the desktop from and mobile site but not in the APP!

Overall I like the app, however it tends to log off fairly quickly. Also, please consider ‘touch’ log in as an option.

Deserves zero stars
Like the once great organization, this app is horrid. Unless you delete and reinstall, you can’t reach the log in page.
Westmed was at one time impeccable but the greedy owners sold the patients and providers out for money and destroyed it. This app is just another symptom of that. Disgraceful.
