- Users can now sign up for a Weill Cornell Connect account from within the app, using the “Sign Up” button on the log in screen.
- The alternate log in icons (biometric and pin) have more dynamic placement, depending on what users have enabled. Previously the biometric icon had static placement on the left, and the pin icon on the right. Now if one is enabled, it will appear in the center, if two, then they will be evenly spaced out next to each other.
- If a user has biometric login enabled, they will be automatically prompted to log in via biometrics when visiting the log in screen. Previously biometric log in was listed as an authentication option on the log in screen, but the app would not automatically prompt the user to use it if it was enabled.
- Remember username persists even after a user closes the app and relaunches it.
- Foreign languages have been removed, as the app will only be supporting English.
- The Weill Cornell Medicine logo in the bottom section of the log in screen is no longer a link. It previously opened the users default browser to the MyChart Terms of Use page.

Nikki9186,
App has not been working
I loved the app when I first got it. Everything in one spot and super easy to use. Now i cant even open the app every time I try it crashes. I have even tried to delete and reinstall and no luck at all. I hope they fix this soon.
CC in NYC,
Stopped working on my iPad after last update
After the last update, this app won't open. I tried offloading it and reinstalling it, but it still won't open. I have to use my NYP app in order to access my patient data and email. My iPad OS is 15.7.6--that's the highest OS this iPad will install.
The app WAS otherwise okay, not great.
drouu,
Overall great
Does most everything one could want, including appt scheduling, video visits, medications, referrals, medical/visit history, etc.

One small complaint: the most recent update removed face recognition such that I now have to remember my login info every time. Minor hassle overall but face rec is/was very fluid, especially when one isn’t feeling well.
izzydaman,
Missed my doctors appointment
Because of this messed up separate app that they had to break off from the my chart, it cost me I miss an important doctors appointment which I had to reschedule which the next one is about s month from now. I don’t know why they created this app. My chart is my chart...
They should completely remove this app and go back to only using my chart for everything including telehealth calls. Don’t know why I have to have separate app which doesn’t work for a telehealth call?!
iznamR,
Works Weill
My experience with this app has consistently been good.. I find it user friendly—easy to navigate. Paying bills, scheduling appointments, getting test results, etc are quick and simple. I think this app is certainly worth your weill to download.
Stpdwrkg,
App is crashing - and no way to get help
I loved this app — until yesterday when I was presented with new terms of service. I hit accept and the app pops me back to the login page. Rinse repeat. and deleting and reinstalling didn’t help. But the worst part is that there is NO tech support available. The faq page for “support” is useless. I need to communicate with my doctor asap and it’s critical to get this back up but I don’t know where or how to talk to someone to fix this. Argh!!
ettie3,
Doesn’t Open Anymore
The app crashes when trying to open, making it useless. This is the reason people are hesitant to update apps righ away. Previously: the app was not perfect (glitches here and there) but was pretty solid (able to book appointments, request refills, email your providers, and launch video for virtual appointments). Definitely functional. Please fix it.
Poolsidemenace,
App Crashes
App worked for a few months but now it simply crashes when you try to open it. This seems to be a recurring issue. Don’t bother trying to use this app. You’re better off simply bookmarking the Weill Connect web site and saving the bookmark on your phone than trying to rely on this app.
disappointed heart patient,
Poorly Designed App
The app is poorly designed and is not user-friendly. The check-in process is broken and results in a loop. I don’t know how anyone, let alone the elderly less tech-friendly, will be able to use it. The developers and Weill-Cornell need to take a long hard look in the mirror about this app. Might as well use a more established app like Zoom and request HIPAA sign-off via email.
NY413___,
Useless app
I’m honestly incredibly surprised that such an great and reputable institution can’t afford to invest more into making a functional app. I haven’t been able to connect using the app for the past year. Now, after updating to the latest app, it just keeps quitting after I open it. Completely useless.
