We got this camera for Christmas and set it up. We had a few glitches but it didn’t take long. I can see the live video day and night. The biggest issue I have is that I have turned on notifications on my phone for the app and on the video itself. I sent up to be notified when there is motion. It does NOT work. No matter what I do I don’t get notifications. I have an SD card in the camera and it showed some videos day one then only records every once in a while. My kids are running around downstairs and I get nothing. The website is down and I have no way of fixing this issue. I have uninstalled the app and am reinstalling it. If it doesn’t work this time I am sending back this camera for something else. It’s been hours of frustration!!!

App doesn’t open
For some reason I’ve been trying to open the app for the past 3 weeks and it won’t even open anymore. I’ve tried updating it. Still acts like it’s opening then returns to main screen.

Decent, but needs some major improvements
Very slow. Video only streams at about 25kb/s which is enough to see a frame every few seconds. The motion tracking option is cool, but it needs an option to go back to a home position after 15-30 seconds. I've checked the cameras a few times to find them pointing at a wall accomplishing nothing. Another feature that would be nice is the ability to quickly turn notifications on and off for motion sensing. If you end up leaving at a time that notifications are usually turned off there is no way to quickly turn on notifications.

Not user friendly but it does work
Is not an easy set up, but is doable. It needs time to allow find the network. 1 or 2 minutes waiting. I had to reboot the app to be able to find the network. The MAC address number is not included anywhere for the camera I purchased. So you have to find it when is attached to your network.

Will not connect
After having this camera for 6mos now it finally stop working....I had my cable company to come out redo all my connection make sure everything is working and it is my tv and my laptop is connect but my camera will not connect to my WiFi I tried over 15x and still not connected rebooted to factory settings and still nothing IT department no help asking me to connect to my neighbor WiFi(they don’t have WiFi) just disappointed at this camera and IT department

Will only display on preview
When this app was updated, it broke the live view from the app. Now we can only view our front door from the preview, not the full display. It claims its a network error, but we still get live feed on the preview as well as motion notifications. We tried reconfiguring our network but have the same results. This camera is running off Ethernet cable and has never had this issue until 5 days ago. Which is when the apps patch was released.

Issue re-connecting 2 cameras in my home
I have 4 model I41EJ cameras in my house. Two work correctly and 2 were having network issues and I removed them and went to set them back to factory setting and re-set them up in the app and after trying the Wifi set up and Ethernet setup both have failed. They didn’t do this until after the most recent firmware update....please help or I will be returning all of these cameras.

Updating breaks app
If you update the app, it (the app) will not work anymore.
That said, I believe that this is intentional since users on their forums are now being directed to install the their “mipc” app.
Update: One thing i noticed after installing the new app is that 1 of my camera’s night vision no longer functions…

Update new version wrong
My phone update new version app after that the app can’t connect to Bluetooth because sometime I’m at work I use apple AirPod for convenience listen my parent at home. But now new version didn’t work. Pleaseeeeeee fix it. Thanks
