When it works, it’s great…
It should be noted that I am very annoyed right now because I’ve been trying to fill out the long medical history info for visit with new doc and it has signed me out three times…and erased all the info when it does. There should be a way to stay signed in. I know it can be done because I don’t have this issue with Carilion MyChart.
Besides that, it’s great. It has proven to be a very effective way to communicate directly with docs and being able to review my own labs and imaging. I’m one of those phone-phobic introverts who hates talking on the phone, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. If only they would fix the auto-signing out issue, I would give it a solid 4.5 stars.

App Glitches
I am not able to switch my user between shared profiles, and all of my options have disappeared in the menu bar. I would contact customer support instead of writing a review, but it is impossible to find a contact number or email to get ahold of them. I also can’t find the “Novant Health” app that my wife uses. Hers seams to be much more user friendly, but it is not available on the App Store.

App Not Secure!
Novant pretty much forces patients to use the app for everything. But it’s not that secure. No 2-Step Authentication or is that feature buried somewhere within the app?
And the billing feature does not offer option to dispute or question a bill that is incorrect/needs to be reviewed for accuracy. BUT it or somewhere in the Novant/app stratosphere sends text messages and other reminders including snail mail ad nauseam to pay a bill. Not a problem except when a bill is disputed but what if I only want one type of billing notice which I prefer to be via the app.
It really is upsetting that the app does not offer—to my knowledge—the “two-step authentication” option. Sigh.

Liked Previous App Better
I’m sure they had their reasons for changing their app, however, this app is terrible. I can’t book an appointment online for the same places that I’ve done before with no problem…for some reason it has me programmed for another state that I can’t switch…I couldn’t update that I got the Covid vaccine- the doctor had to do that…Went to chat to have them book an appointment and got timed out very quickly when the person was looking into setting up an appointment so now I have to call. This is actually my first review but I had to do it because I hate this app version that much

Got Help
I was having problems logging in to Novant Health but I got in touch by phone with their staff and in a few short minutes my problems were gone. The young lady was extremely helpful and helped me fix the problem with the 1st try . That’s the reason I updated my review. Sorry I can’t remember her name but thank you for helping me and being very kind while doing so.

Can’t log in
Been unable to login to my account using the app the last couple of days. Of course I’ve only tried the last two days. I can login online. I still like the app. When I try to login it says “ Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.”. Please fix as soon as you can. Thanks!

App not working
I have been using this app for over a year. I updated my password 3-4 weeks ago and can longer login on the app. It just continues to say “sorry but we are having trouble logging you in.” “Try again”. I’ve tried everything. And have been hung up on twice by novant customer service team. And yes I am able to login online through the internet. It’s only the app I am having issues with.

I love my app
I find the Novant app very easy to use to manage me and my child’s account. I’m able to communicate with my doctors, get important docs etc with ease. I also get text alerts to tell me when to check the app which is super helpful for my hectic life.

Everything in one place
The MyNovant app helps me access all of my health information in one place. I can also find a new doctor or location in the app as well. This is super helpful so I don’t have to go to a separate website or another app. Makes it super easy and convenient!

Major Downgrade from previous APP
I have no idea why Novant made a new app that is less user-friendly, less accessible, and less intuitive. I can no longer access any of my children’s accounts from my account; it’s as if they no longer exist. The last app was so much more visually intuitive. There is a lot more guessing and backtracking to find things here. I wish I could give it zero stars. I have no idea what Novant was thinking.
