I was so excited to try her workout app, but I’ve got to say I’m pretty disappointed. I’ve been spoiled by other home workout programs for sure such as Fitness Blender, Blogilates and Tone It Up. At least downloading the app inspired me to start working out again!! As long as you push yourself to train to exhaustion, then it is a good workout, and I am sore so I definitely appreciate the workouts and the looping videos of the workouts so you at least have an idea as to what to do. My complaints are that one, there are no warm ups or cool downs. Two, there is no time between excercises to switch out weights for the next exercise, nor is there any indication as to which one is coming up next. Also along the same complaint, the break between the three sets of five or so excercises is two minutes long when it should maybe be twenty seconds long. Third she doesn’t have videos of her completing a full set- just loops of her doing between 3 - 4 reps of each excercise. It also says the workouts are thirty minutes long, but they are not even a full twenty minutes in length. It would just be SO much more inspiring if she completed the workout along side of you, provided adequate time to prep for the next set, and provided an actual 30 minute workout with warm ups and cool downs. I do still adore Stefanie for being relatable, vegan/plant based and inspiring as an individual overall! I do hope she looks at this critique and improves her app, because if she did I’d pay $12 per month as opposed to the $10 per month I’m currently paying or better yet pay for the year in advance. Until that happens though, I’m going to go ahead and cancel and go back to my tried and true Fitness Blender’s FB Plus program. It’s not an app but it is still easily accessed from a phone or computer. Hope this is helpful if you’re looking for a more structured workout plan :)
