The Nerivio app controls the Nerivio device - a wireless remote electrical neuromodulation device for the acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 12 years of age or older.
This prescribed device is self-applied to the upper-arm and should be used in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura, or every other day for preventive treatment.
Track your headaches and migraine symptoms in an easy-to-use advanced migraine diary which is included in the app.

Very difficult to connect but treatment works as a daily treatment
I spend 15-20 minutes every time I want to do a treatment trying to connect this thing to my phone. I then want to throw the entire thing across the room, vs staying calm and meditative, which is the state in which one should be for this. For the love of all that is good, if it’s apple or this app, not sure , but it’s more painful than poking my eyeballs with needles.
However, I have chronic migraine disease, which means I get 15+/month so the goal is to do this daily. When I do that I think I’m reducing the frequency and intensity, so thank you to the developers. I do the treatment in combination with meditation and visualization, visualizing the migraines permanently being removed from my body. I think it does help.

Never believed this would work
I’ve had migraines since elementary school and now I’m a grandma. I’ve tried everything. My treatment plan now is the best I’ve had, but I still get migraines. My doc gave me Nerivio as a trial. I didn’t think much of it at first, but then they added the guided imagery and that made all the difference in the world for me. I almost always get a positive result and feel better. I think I’d do even better if I didn’t wait so long, but I just read some insurance companies may cover treatments. That will be great!
Anything that works and isn’t a medication is top notch in my book. Thanks Nerivio. I’m not often impressed especially being a Nurse.

Good part of Chronic Migraine Treatment
This device has been an essential ingredient to my Chronic Migraine treatment plan. It helps other treatments such as non-rebounding migraine medication work with less medication and have a shorter duration of symptoms .
If I run out of Nerivio treatments, my migraines have been known to get out of control with pain and other migraine related symptoms. It has allowed me to stay off of narcotic pain medication.
The before and after assessments are wonderful to present to my doctors. I use a treatment at the beginning of symptoms for each migraine (even if it is every day.) it has been more helpful than other non-medication devices.

Wonderful medication free product
I am really loving the nerivio device. As someone who suffers chronic migraines it's nice to know that there are companies out there who finally care about improving the lives of folks with migraines and nerivio is one of them.
For me, this device is best used at the onset of an attack. When I can tackle it head on I usually don't need any additional medication or maybe an aleve at most.
I also love the app itself. Really well designed, user intuitive, and nailed the UX (thanks designers!) keep up the good work. I've been spreading the word about this device because it's been such a game changer for me.

Device awesome, app okay
The Nerivio device is wonderful BUT the functionality of the app is only mediocre. It often freezes when I try to open it, so I have to remove it and reinstall it. That’s annoying but fine when I’m home. But if I’m somewhere with no internet access, I’m out of luck and in for a migraine attack.

Beware, not a software product
Each device has 12 forty five minute sessions. If for any reason you cannot complete every minute of treatment (e.g. such as bad software design, software bugs, or miss understood instructions) your only recourse is to return the device.
I found that pausing the session for > 5 minutes cancels the session while still deducting 1 session from the paid total. When I complained, the customer reps acted like it was my fault. This is completely UNLIKE software items purchased through the Apple Store. Unable to get the full treatment I paid for, I returned the device for a refund.

It Works! The guided imagery is amazing.
I don’t know where the negative reviews come from - sounds like some older folks who don’t manage technology very well. This thing is incredible! I cannot believe the improvement I have experienced with about 15 migraines now, especially the worst ones. The guided imagery is unlike anything be seen before - absolutely incredible!

It doesn’t come on!!
After completing all the work up with the arm ban to work, i turn the device on also with my telephone and nothing happened. Now you’re thinking that this is a waste I have a migraine I’m trying to do something about it and I go to put on my arm band in the machine does it come off? Very frustrating now my headaches, and now my migraine is worse. I tried this for the last three days and I can’t get the machine to connect to my cell phone. what is there to do. do I have a faulty arm band please respond.

Great for Reducing Sumatriptan Use
A lifelong migraine sufferer, I’ve been using the Nerivio Device and it’s App for 2-3 years now whenever I feel a migraine coming on. I had never liked the way I felt on Sumitriptan or Imitrex, which didn’t always work, and am very glad to have found a treatment that works just as often without the unwanted side effects.

The Nerivio device saved me from tons of medication
At last, I have a migraine treatment that doesn't make me sleepy, exhausted, and feel like my jaw will be dislocated (tnx to rizatriptan, yikes!). I’ve had migraines since I was 5 years old and I’ve had all kinds of triggers during the 35 years. I’ve tried everything, trust me. Nerivio works—I am a true fan!
