One of the best games ever!
I really love these New York mysteries! They are very fun, challenging but not frustrating. I don’t like paying for things if I can use them for free, so I really appreciate that it’s free to play! You only get 5 free hints at the start, which isn’t enough for me, but there’s an option to get free hints by watching ads, which I really like! I have enjoyed the plots of all of the NY mysteries, they are very engaging! I just have one minor complaint about this one, which isn’t a big deal, but I was slightly disappointed that the story of Carrie Martell wasn’t expanded further. I know that it’s mainly just the set up for the larger mystery, but it would have nice if her character had an actual significance other than (SPOILER ALERT) just being killed by a zombie. Besides that, it’s an absolutely fantastic game, thank you to the developers for making an awesome free game! And I can tell they are passionate about making games, not just about making money, because there are no pop up or in game ads, and there aren’t any paywalls, and it’s possible to get through the whole main game without paying a thing!

Great Fun and Good Mental Stimulation
Ever since I spilled wine on my gaming computer and blew in out in one fell swoop, I've been looking for a fun and stimulating iPad game. I LOVE this entire series. I dislike violent games where the protagonist can get killed. I enjoy games that exercise your memory and logic skills, so this one fits the bill. The heroine's voice is a bit annoying and badly acted, but thankfully she doesn't talk much. She sounds a bit like Wilma Flintstone. Nevertheless, highly recommended. Note: Developers like Nordcurrent should take note of how free gameplay SHOULD work. This is perfect. You can click on the screen to your heart's content and not lose ENERGY (coins) Gameplay coins gained by watching ads are faithfully granted without the delays, hiccups or rollbacks.

Love the game, except for lack of hints
Let me start by saying that I really enjoy the New York Mysteries series. The game is challenging without getting too frustrating, the graphics are great, and the storyline is fun. That said, I can’t give NYM 3 five stars, because it had the same issue as the first one, you have to buy hints if you use all of the free ones. In addition, the F2P format doesn’t give the player a very interactive map. There’s no markings for areas where the player needs to complete a task, no reminder that the player forgot to find the collection of morphing item, making the map pretty useless. Could I find a walkthrough? Yes, I can, but I don’t want to do that. I would rather pay for the game so that I have unlimited hints, an interactive map and a more pleasing game experience. I will wait to see if NYM 4 is brought out in a full game for purchase version.
I have seen that there is a full version of NYM 1 and 3, but I didn’t find them until after I started playing 3.
Please bring out NYM 4 in full game for purchase and I’ll come running to buy it.

Best “escape the room” style puzzle game series I’ve played.
I’ve played a lot of these types of games and this series is by far the best.
Best production value, logical puzzles, a blend of realistic mechanical type puzzles and supernatural stuff but nothing so random that it’s annoying- everything has a logical solution that may just take time.
The cut scenes are great, story is interesting throughout with fun internal lore. In-game graphics aren’t beyond expectations but the animations are a cut above most other games of this kind.
Only flaw I can think of so far is sometimes forgetting what an item I picked up might’ve been for - like, I saw a uniquely shaped lock about an hour ago, and I remember seeing that lock, but by the time I find the key I have no clue where the heck that lock was among the many different rooms/areas I’ve been to. I’d recommend some sort of icon on the location select map to indicate remaining locks/objectives per area, just to help cut down on back tracking to find where this newly acquired item might need to go.
Other than that, can’t think of any complaints. I’m hope this series is continued for a long time!

I enjoy most all your story puzzle games. I’m not use to your ftp setup. You use to let us buy the games, now on some of your other games they are energy base that I’m not a fan of. But love stories and puzzles. Please go back to your old setup with being able to just buy the game. So we don’t have to start and stop just because we don’t have energy to continue. New York 3 has been a lot of fun. Keep up the good work. :-)

Challenging and satisfying
These games are just great! I’ve played all of Lost Lands, all of Darkness and Flame, almost all of New York Mysteries. I got better at them as I went along. I took the advice from other players and took my time, I was patient and diligent. Over time, I’ve used less and less hints. I enjoy the mind exercise these games are, and it never costs me anywhere close to $6.99 to play. Great games! Keep them coming!

It’s absolutely perfect. Makes you really think about things and throws a mix in as well. Attention to detail is superb and the story is SO full without being over the top! Really enjoy the unlimited free hints but if there was a cap on them per day I would have taken longer playing, as applied to finishing it the same day I got it because I was so into it 😂

Can’t finish
The puzzle that requires wiring between points on a board with light bulbs has a bug. The wires won’t fill in using the clue from the schematic on the light board. I’ve tried numerous times, including closing the game and restarting, and it won’t work. I’m guessing this puzzle provides the key to the fire hose which is then connected to the hydrant to knock the last required key off the sign post. Oh Well.

Enjoying but with one suggestion
Really love the graphics and storyline so far although I’ve been stuck a few times. My suggestion is that when you use a hint, please take us to the exact spot of where you need to be, not just the room you need to be in.

Too expensive!
The games are great; I love them, but I am one who uses hints a lot, and sometimes skip the games during gameplay. One of the things I love with companies like Big Fish games is you pay one flat price per game, and get to use hints and skips as much as you want. These are awesome games, just need to lower the price on your rubies, or at least offer a limitless deal. And, please - keep them coming! Would love a lot more new games!
