Occasions 3 - Reminders Hack 3.1.6 + Redeem Codes

Great app! I have used this only to sync my birthdays and anniversaries from my Contacts. I already get notified of someone's birthday via facebook. If that person is special enough to me, then I add them to the Occasions app which will then also appear on my calendar.
I never miss birthdays and anniversaries because I get notified in advance if I want to mail a card or send a text. (I create a “Contact app” profile for each separate birthday, as well as a “separate” Contact profile for each couple’s anniversary without any further information and there is never any confusion as to whose name(s) appears on my calendar.)
I’m older and didn’t grow up with technology. My daughter recommended it. This was easy to begin, although it took a few tiny adjustments over the years.
I now get compliments on my tech knowledge 😂 and for being able to remember everybody’s birthdays and anniversaries🤔! Occasions even automatically tells me the current age of a person or how many years for the anniversary.
I’ve used it since I first got my iPhone nearly 4 years ago. Occasions app is fantastic and I’ve never been disappointed!

Ok this is update to the update reviews I gave while back..Initially I had stopped receiving alerts after a particular update except for the original alert time I put in when first installing app..meaning if I changed the alerts from the original it wouldn’t alert on new time it would still alert on the old time even tho it was changed.. so I tried other apps but they are so over done!! So I went back to Occasions cuz the simplicity is perfect and I set up my reminders on phone to remind me to check my Occassions app..lol I know🤪 now I finally did my app updates and realized Occasions had an OVERHAUL update!! Well first wanna say..u did amazing u still kept it simple and added eye candy which is beautiful..I love the theme idea hoping in future there will be more🤗not greedy just loving it❤️ I will find out tomorrow afternoon if my new set times on all my alerts will sound at new time and not old..🤞but hey if alert still has issue I don’t care this app and features are still awesome to me, I will use my reminders to look at Occasions if it comes to that😁❤️

I only put peoples birthdays and anniversaries that are close to me my family and my close friends. I do not use my contacts because I do not have everyone’s year of birth and all them things. And I love that they remind me of all the birthdays and anniversaries and holidays that are coming up. And then they tell you how old the people are getting because you put in the year they were born. I like that feature very much. I couldn’t remember if I had to pay for this app or not and I still don’t know for sure. I was telling my cousin about this app and she said she would like it and I was trying to look it up. But it don’t say how much it cost or if it’s free! I gave it five stars, because I like it very much! when it gives me the notice of whose birthday or anniversary is coming up I call my children and to remind them to call their cousins are our friends and tell them happy birthday so it helps all of us! Thanks a lot for making this app! Thank you that it is free, I guess.

I have had this app for years and realized it was time to write a review. It is easy to use and is so handy. I have it on my main screen so if a birthday or anniversary is coming up I see the notice on the icon.

There was a time it would let you send a message to the person’s Facebook but unfortunately fb stopped that. That was a nice feature. But the app is still worth getting.

You can keep all those special dates in one location. And unlike a calendar where you’d have to scroll through each moth to see what special dates are coming up this app has it all in one list in date order and grouped by month. If you don’t have this app what are you waiting for?

Have always been pleased with the app until recently. It no longer shows any events except holidays. No birthdays, no anniversaries, etc. I checked and it is linked to my contacts. What happened to this app. Unless I can get it fixed, might as well delete.
UPDATE: Received an email from customer support with suggestions to try to correct the problem. Their suggestions seemed to have worked and the app again seems to be working fine. Good app in general.

I love this app. Many years ago I had an IBM program called "Daily Organizer" which allowed me reminders of all types of events, however, with more sophisticated operating systems I lost the ability to use that program. Since that time I have continually been looking for something like that, and this app comes closer to it than anything else I have tried. It is very easy to use, and I expect to use it daily! Thank you, developers, for a very useful product!

I used this continually (almost daily) until this latest update. I cannot find how to select certain events (like only birthdays, anniversaries, etc) and that is a definite drawback for me!

Been using this since it was created and it’s the only one I’ve ever needed for keeping track of all my contact’s birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions. Love the layout and functionality. It’s also esthetically pleasing. Has lots of appearance themes but could always use more such as holiday themes and/or the ability to add my own photo as the background. Love that I can change the color of the app icon.

Very disappointed with your suggestion to recover data from previous version. It didn’t work. This is not insignificant data that is lost! I believe your company is liable and needs to update the original version if only long enough to transfer the data.

Thanks for creating the bridge from old app to new. I believe all of my data is recovered. Rating has gone from 1 - 5 stars!

I have been a User for Over 5 years. It has allowed me to remember every important day mi life. Specially Birthdays of Family and friends, specially when you are blessed to have so many.

And it also helps me remember the death of Horrific “Persons”. I thank God that they are no longer with us and ask that he protect and give strength to those who suffered and died because of them. 🙏

Previous comment - It's more work and a lot less useful without the sync with Facebook. Any chance you'll restore it?
2020 comment - With the latest update, I’ve lost all of the profile photos! Many of those date back to the time when Occasions included a sync with Facebook. I see no value in the latest update.
Aug. 2020 - great help from tech support. My missing contacts & photos from the previous version have been restored! Thanks!
