so much better than wordle
I’ve really enjoyed Wordle but sometimes I wish I could binge Wordle—and make the difficultly more consistent. Enter Octordle. When my bestie explained the concept to me, I thought: no way that would work! It would be way too hard or not fun. I was wrong. Only complaint is that the app crashes every ten times or so, but when I close the app and start again, it seems fine.

Good Mental Exercise
Octordle exercises your mind more than Quordle or Wordle.
I like the screen layout better than those of the other two. The green “Submit” button and the red backspace are visually more satisfying.
It would be good if “vibex” and “gymps” were accepted words. Along with “waltz”, “chunk”, and “fjord”, one could eliminate all the letters except “q”. However, “vibes” and “gimpy” provide an acceptable work-around. Then “x” is the only other letter not eliminated.

I installed this game thinking I’d be able to play with my friends, but alas, I was misled by the Bateman and Mr. Damon.
With nothing left to live for, I will make it my life’s mission to play this all day, everyday, until the developer creates a ‘compete against friends’ option and I can finally exact my revenge!

Very fun to play
Just downloaded today and really enjoy it. It seems to use a lot of battery and I have noticed my phone get warm. Hope it isn’t a problem. Would like to continue to play

Very enjoyable
I enjoy Wordle and enjoy the variation in this game. I’ve seen other comments about crashing and I’m experiencing the same even only after 5 minutes of play. Hope a fix is found.

YES this is pretty great! Am only playing free version, so far easier levels but it stays challenging and isn’t making me to over think my guesses, making me dig deep for the word at hand to win all 8 games in 13 lines ~ So far so Great 🙌🏻🥳❤️

The ads are obstructing the keyboard!
I have been really enjoying Octordle for several months but recently the ads at the bottom have been enlarged so that I can't see/use the bottom of the keyboard. Super frustrating!! I understand ads are a necessary evil but can you ensure they don't actually interfere with playing the game?

Great and challenging form of Wordle!
I play Wordle and Quordle daily leading up to this version. I find it very fun and challenging to complete all eight words successfully. I find it to be very well formatted for the iPhone, and it works flawlessly. Kudos to the developers!

Not worth the money
If you think you want to play this game….just play quordle twice for free….still get 8 words. There is no daily to play against your friends with. The fact you can not even try it without paying should have been a sign it’s not worth it 🤷🏼♂️ win some you lose some.

Paid version Performs poorly compared to the free version
The free version of the app performed perfectly. I paid for the upgraded version, but now it is running very slow and making my phone overheat. I’ve tried rebooting my phone, rebooting the app,Deleting the app and reinstalling and I am running the current version of iOS. But the issue continues. Please help to resolve this issue.
