Praise for Old Friends!
I got this game a long time ago and have been playing everyday ever since! It’s the type of game that you might get bored of if you play for like three hours, but like thirty minutes a day is amazing. I would consider myself a dog crazy person and the fact that I can take care of cute dogs with great graphics is so cool! I’ve downloaded a lot of other dog games, but none of them compare to how wonderful this game is. The only thing I would change about the game is that it can get annoying to wait that long for a new dog, but I get that it wouldn’t be good in the end because the game would go so fast. I would definitely recommend this game to other dog lovers and to people who would just like a fun game to play. The only other thing I would change is to just have more dogs because I’ve already gotten every dog you can get, so possibly just a few new dogs. But like I said I absolutely adore this game, and I play it ALL THE TIME!!! One of my fav dogs is Sharks the dachshund and I own a dachshund in real life so I love having all those different breeds. I would love to read a book about this, like how there is a girl who has a senior dog center and has these friends like Louise and Joshua, and it tells the stories of each dog and such…😜😅😂 I don’t know I guess that’s just the writer in me. But totally just download this game and if it’s not for you, then you can delete it. But if it is for you, keep playing it!!

The Most Wholesome Game
At first I thought this game was going to be your typical pay to win game. However, I was completely wrong about that. As soon as I open the game I was created with a very addictive song that was both upbeat and wholesome. Oh I love the idea that this game is solely based on a true life sanctuary for older dogs. The amount of cute name options for your sanctuary is amazing as well as having your own motto. I love all the activities you can do in this game like bake treats, do live streams, take requests, and “text people” while getting rewarded. I also adore the donation factors and one of my favorite things about this game is having a story for each individual dog. It’s so cute it really is and adore reading the information about each dog and I just started this game I’m only level two but it is amazing. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves animals or loves dogs and just wants to start playing a cute game. I want to say that this is probably one of my favorite games that I’ve found in a while. I personally have a dog myself and I’m worried about her getting older, but this game is definitely comforting and I really appreciate this being made it’s a wonderful game and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Adorable with an AMAZING concept
I love the concept of teaching younger audiences that old dogs are still worth adopting even though they won’t live as long as puppies or younger dogs. That’s a huge issue in modern society and no one wants them anymore even though they’re so perfect. I have a geezer myself and he’s still as lively as a puppy (as lively as a grumpy old curmudgeon of a lap dog can be at least). I love that the dogs are shown to have so much personality despite being old and I LOVE that they’re based off real life senior dogs that have been cared for and shown immense amounts of love despite being old. I would love to join the foster program for OFSDS if i didn’t live in an apartment. I only deducted a star because it’s a pain to level the dogs up to the next story point.. I love repetitive games (I’ve been playing magikarp jump every day for nearly a year), don’t get me wrong, but because the point threshold for getting to the next chapter increases SO much with each level, it feels like I’m making little to no progress unless I leave the dogs alone for several hours for points to accumulate, and I don’t like doing that. Repetitive games are only fun to continually play when there’s some variation in the repetition and there’s more things to do while waiting. Other than that it is so adorable and I love the idea and the art style and how easy it is to get coins. :)

the whole concept of it is amazing and exactly how we should be pursuing projects. supporting them with real life actions! it feels awesome to know that this game is inspired by an actual shelter for old doggo friends. and the design of the game itself is awesome, it’s simple, not too overly complicated, and has a really cute visuals. the dogs have cute designs and i love how each of them is different and you can look through their personalities, “post pictures” of them and see their real life counterpart. also the fact that there’s a wholesome plot just adds even more to this! you don’t have to pay anything to advance in the game really, you can work towards it on your own and if you do want to maybe treat yourself to spending a few bucks on something, it’s affordable and worth it to see one of your friends wearing a cute outfit and having personalized items. it also has little challenges and events and just… WOW. an awesome little game and extremely comforting with a good story and message, elders need love too! <3 please download and play this, it’s honestly given me a lot of comfort and it’s the only game i really have on my phone.

I Adore This Game So Dang Much!!!
I wanted to play this game as soon as I read the part about the Sanctuary actually being a real place. I would love to actually have my own place like that, but for myself, it’s would have to be cats. Being disabled by a pretty severe spinal cord injury, I’m not able to chase after & play with dogs. I wouldn’t be able to give them the full extent of attention that I know they need and love. But this game actually has given me so much joy, especially at the times when I’m laid out flat on my back in pain. Which is sadly quite often.

Now that would be great and interesting because cats don’t care what you do for them and earning their trust is a whole other matter!! Love the concept, but feels very repetitive
I really wanted to like this game. I open it here and there hoping I’ll like it eventually but sadly I just do not. It caused me to find and enjoy both the butterfly and moth games by this dev which I love both of now, so that was nice, but as someone who adopted a senior cat we only got to enjoy the company of for four short but wonderful years, I was expecting to completely love this game.
Instead it just felt really limiting that there’s only three real interactions with the pets and that pretty much is the bulk of the game, with the leveling system requiring doing those three interactions rapidly in a timed event. I absolutely hate the leveling system and pretty much avoid leveling because I don’t want to do a timed event in a game that is in no way an action oriented game.
I open your other games to relax, but this one isn’t relaxing thanks to the leveling up system. I like to read the dog stories, but the rest of the game to get to them isn’t very fun, and I say that as someone who has spent money on the game purely because I wanted to express my appreciation for the concept, even if I am not really that fond of the end results. I wish the game had one solid fun to play mini game or something that wasn’t the level up system or cleaning up after the pets.

A Beautiful Game
I mostly grew up on the puppy era of dog games and media. Dogz, LPS, puppy grooming toys…the list is very, very long. They always promoted how CUTE the dogs were, how PLAYFUL, how CLUMSY. Most old dogs were portrayed as scary or useless.
This is such a wonderful, refreshing antithesis to the early 2000s. The warmth of the tones, the realistic sounds, the weathered but charming look of the characters…it’s fantastic! Not to mention these dogs look like, well, dogs - not a plastic toy to play with until they get old.
I like how each dog has their own mannerisms in gameplay. For example, Leo takes less pets than the other dogs because they aren’t as physically affectionate. Each dog has their own likes and dislikes. The stories are made up of story-changing moments and more domestic ones as well. The squish of their faces against the floor. How they are all based on real dogs from your rescue.
All in all, this game is awesome. Some people might nitpick at some of the mechanics, but I have enjoyed, and will enjoy, this game thoroughly. I hope you keep adding new dogs, if that’s at all possible.

I’ve had this game for close to a year, and I love it. The setup is cute, the design is cute, the mini games are cute. It’s not difficult to acquire any of the currencies, it’s not a “pay to win” game. Just take care of the dogs and the sanctuary. Great way to promote your non-profit and encourage (but not require💗) donations. I love using this game to unwind at night.
However, I would love if there were different angles to look at the room and yard so that furniture would have more places to go, since a lot of events require you to make lots of furniture. Or even better, access to more rooms. Would absolutely LOVE that. It would be much more interesting to move around the sanctuary if there were more to explore. And maybe you have to “fix up” the room at a certain level to unlock it. More types of furniture and decorations would be cool too, like things to hang on the wall.
Additionally, the amount of pure RAGE coming from other reviews that are having tech issues with getting the app to load immediately upon downloading are incredibly unwarranted. It’s understandably frustrating, but surely nothing your support team can’t work on.

I love Old Friends Dog Game, and I love how it tells younger audiences that old dogs are still worth adopting. Right away, I fell in love with this game. I love the dog designs and how they are based off real senior dogs, and how every dog has their own stories. The gameplay is very quick, I only started playing three days ago and I'm already at level 22 and have six dogs. (My favourites are Leo and Sharkey, I love you guys :>) My only feedback is that sometimes the game gets a little glitchy, like the music or the screen will freeze for a few seconds, and sometimes the game will occasionally send me back to the loading screen. But these are minor issues that go back to normal after a while. So far today I haven't had any issues. I also love how you guys are constantly updating and making events, like the disco event tonight that I'm really looking forward to. I love your games, you guys are awesome, and I hope to see more updates and events 😁

Best game in the whole world
I think this game is amazing and I can see that you guys but a lot of effort into it I love how you guys worked hard and I think you worked for a year or more I play this game more then ever and the dogs are adorable so far I have Mack bagel and king Leo and yes I read your new I just love the fact it’s based on a real dog sanctuary
I’m obsessed I told my cousin to buy it and my sister and so on even the adults in my family have it and I have a beagle named bagel so I was surprised when I unlocked bagel this game is super fun for cat lovers and dog lovers I’m obsessed with dogs and I already got a vip bundle for Mack the first day I started the game cause I thought is was so cute and it is! This game needs five star ratings and no bad ratings cause the effort the fun and more it’s like I wasn’t expecting such a fun game that I would play everyday and be obsessed I barely even play Roblox because of this game it’s like wow well anyways that’s it I hope the creators reply cause like I want them to feel good about this incredible and fun art they just made
