Zoom issues
It’s an amazing app to learn about history and displacement, however you can only research for about 15-20 minutes at a time before the zoom stops working and the maps starts going haywire.. I’d love to continue to use this as it’s very helpful in looking into my city history, however I think a few tweaks could make this run a lot better.

Fixed and fantastic
I would ignore the older reviews, none of the negatives mentioned like trouble zooming and app crashes appear to exist anymore. I keep coming back to this app and haven’t had any problems with it so far. I look at lots of old maps and this is a much easier route to seeing them than digging around in a variety of websites. Good job devs - hope you keep supporting this very useful tool.

The issue…
I love the capabilities of this app. However, it constantly freezes up on me. Sometimes after ten minutes or so and then sometimes as soon as the map loads it will start to do different tasks than commanded. I can’t not use the app because of its potential. I just wish that you guys could get it working properly. Thank you…

What happened?
Worked great at first, then had trouble with the maps being out of focus. The crazy glitchiness of a while back seems resolved but still have trouble zooming in/focusing. I really enjoyed searching for the streets and lanes of my ancestors homes when I started using this.

Zoom issues x100
Just like the other guy said. After 20 min, you try and zoom-in on an old map and it spins it upside down and makes it really really tiny. It just gets crazy. Mind you, zooming-in is essential for viewing a map.

Still has issues
Worked great the first day. But after two days the app is having problems. When you tap on a map you get another map different date. Map spun and won’t stay pointing north. Can’t expand map, had to go to the beginning and start over. Great maps, wish I could view them.

Buggy app
It’s resourceful for finding USGS maps that apply to your area, but after looking at 2-3 maps the zoom feature bugs out and the maps become unusable. It’s be great if it worked properly and i would use it, but because it’s so buggy I’d rather spend time looking through the actual USGS or other websites.
