Another small update as we work towards iPhone. We've got some small fixes for publisher pages, some creator photos, mostly behind the scenes stuff. You should also check out our library as we've been adding a lot of great back catalog work from publishers like Image and Boom. As well as we've added Dark Horse, Oni, Humanoids and Titan since the last update!

1. We've resolved issues with lost libraries and books sometimes not showing up in the library
2. We've added a motion toggle for those of you who have sensitivities we don't (and respect) and also the other group who just hates bouncing.

Important Stuff

1. Rebuilt the series book carousel so it doesn’t crash the app when you play with it a lot. Crashes = bad. Viewing books = good.
2. Store book previews use our fancy new reader, not the crappy old one that was harder to swipe.

3. Line heights are nicer in store descriptions.
4. New row of free books in the store. You’re a cheapskate, but we still love you.
5. Store graphics load better when you scroll around instead of disappearing because, well, they’re not useful if they disappear, right?

6. Don’t show finished/100% books when you filter your Collection down to only “In-Progress” books because, they’re like not in-progress anymore, man.

Two small fixes:
1. Better handling of purchases that found themselves in a pending state
2. Some customers were having trouble seeing purchases or reading their comics. Engineering suggested we call this feature "Permanent Screen Time" but everyone else told them to fix it.

Super easy to use and navigate. Great titles!
I am really enjoying using this app and reading comics. The books look TERRIFIC and it’s easy to zoom in to peep the details in the artwork. It's super easy to browse and buy titles, and your purchases are clearly displayed as a nice collection. They make it so easy, it’s hard not to buy the next issue when you get to the end of a title!

Great effort but still buggy
There’s a solid collection of indie publishers and the experience is generally positive but I’ve run into a few problems that make the app hard to recommend.
First off shopping for a book in the store is tedious as the default sorting is based off of recent releases and not by book title.
Secondly the suggestions for what to buy next when finishing a book is not great if you’re reading a book that has multiple limited or short run series with similar names. Id get recommendations for different series instead of the one I’m currently reading.
The final issue is probably the biggest and ultimately what’s going to be make or break for me. After the most recent update I lost my entire collection of about a dozen or so books. Thankfully it’s not a huge investment but it is unsettling and doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence. I already reached out to their support so we’ll see what happens.

The comic book app I’ve been dreaming of
Omnibus is the comic book app I’ve been dreaming of! The launch catalog is top notch and buying comics is super easy. The app design is beautiful and minimal, keeping the focus on the comics. And the reading experience is flawless — full bleed digital comics in all their glory! Omnibus has reignited my passion for comics! I can’t wait to see how the app continues to evolve!

Great reading experience
Really enjoying this app so far. Very easy to find and buy comics and the reading experience is much better than the kindle app. Hoping to see more content added. Hoping to see some light social features including recommendations and “playlists”. Really nice start here.

There are both no free comics and the preview doesn’t work. It’s impossible to even test this app.
