Outstanding resource!
This is a wonderfully simple and complete app for the daily readings, daily lives of saints and for the feast and fast calendar.
While the app is terrific as-is, my one suggestion for development would be to make the excellent database of the lives of the saints searchable by name, which would add a unique level of utility and make the app even more useful.

Very comprehensive: even (still) relatively obscure Western Saints are listed for commemoration.
The app is very user friendly: among other extraordinary features, what really blew me away is you don't need to carry a bible with you to access the scriptural readings . Simply "tapping" the reference brings up the entire text.
Moreover, flipping your iPhone "sideways" enlarges the text. Very cool! I'd give this app 10 stars if I could!

Great!
This is by far the best orthodox calendar that I have used in the Apple Store. The Russian version thoughts for every day of the year by Theophan the Recluse. And it's wonderful how comprehensive the Saints collection is.
Also really like that the fasting days are the ROCOR fasting discipline. Not that there is anything wrong with milder fasting, different jurisdictions etc. Just my personal preference!

There are apps out there that offer a fraction of what this one offers and you have to pay to unlock what this app offers for free.

The lives of the Saints are the Gospel lived. It is priceless to have them and their stories so close and accessible through this app. Thank you so much to the developers and designers - this calendar has become an indispensable part of my life.

Best Old Calendar app
This is the best calendar app for Orthodox Christians on the Old Calendar. It includes the commemorations for each day, usually with a reading for several Saints, Scriptural readings for the day, the major troparia and kontakia, and of course the fasting rules for the day. English and Russian are included.

Really amazed at how many saint stories are included. It uses the Julian calendar.
Very solid and well-constructed app that works perfectly.

Excellent
Being newly orthodox, the old/new calendar differences in bible reading for the day were a frustration to sort out online. Not to mention fasting allowances for special days. This app has fixed that. Lots of info on the saints commemorated too. Thanks for a great app.

Great for daily use
This app helps a new convert to keep on track with Old Calendar/New Calendar dates, with feasts (both fixed and moveable), fasts, saints being celebrated, readings. We recommend it to anyone with a smart phone.

My favorite Orthodox app, it offers detailed lives of the saints, scripture readings, and daily troparion. Defaults to Old Calendar, but any date can be manually selected. Highly recommended!
