Description

** Apple Design Award winner and iPad Game of the Year! **
Enter the Darwinian world of a galactic mote. To survive, absorb smaller organisms and grow—but beware of larger predators. Osmos features unique physics-based play, stellar graphics, and a hypnotic ambient soundtrack. Absorb or be absorbed!

“The ultimate ambient experience” — Gizmodo
“Beyond doubt, a work of genius" — GameAndPlayer.net

THE CRUX:
you must grow by absorbing smaller motes, but to propel yourself you must eject matter behind you, causing you to shrink. From this delicate balance, Osmos leads the player through floating playgrounds, competitive petri dishes, deep solar systems, and more.

“Named as iPad Game of the Year for a reason, Osmos is a fantastic game. A combination of physics, survival and classic eat em up” — WeDoCode
“Whether you're a child at heart who likes mucking about with single-cell organisms, or a strategist with a physics degree, this game will appeal to everyone.” — App Store review

PERF! 💝,
LOVE
i LOVE this app it is so much FUN!!! the levels r so challenging and addicting but also very calming along w NO adds. I feel like this is the one game that has not been like changed w the time yk… all games have so many adds and they r just for profit but Osmos is SO MUCH FUN WITHOUT ADDS i feel like the developer just wants people to have fun w it. ofc there’s the 3.99 but i had an apple gift card that i dug up from somewhere to buy it. the game unlocks treasured childhood memories of playing this game w my grandfather and dad and sometimes brother, and i love to play it again, make new memories with family and friends, and to relax. totally hoping for an osmos 2 but i think the appeal of this game is that the creators are like no where, (they haven’t created any other games) and that these r the only levels that have been made. PLEASE download it… it is worth the money, and do not believe any of the reviews on here sure it is challenging, but it it’s satisfying and rewarding as well. they also have quotes along the way (i don’t wanna spoil it lol! very tempted though :) PLEASE download and review to show support the creators deserve it for creating such a perfect game 💓💥❤️💞 (^•.•^)

Mesmerizing, Relaxing, Beautiful
I love this game. This is my go-to game these days. It’s beautiful. I think the music can be good, but I love the game without it too. Need something to wind down with before bed? Slow down time (you can do that with this game) and just let the current and the pretty lights take you.

I do like some levels a LOT more than others. The ‘Sentient’ levels are by my favorite. I’ve played them all 1000x by now, and they don’t really get old for me. I almost wish they’d beef this game out with an expansion. I’d definitely pay money, especially for more Sentient-like levels.
chitownriverscum,
Visually great; frustration level: infinity
I wish this were a more likable game. It pulls you in with its mesmerizing audio and video elements, the purely physical logic of control and gameplay... at first blush, seemingly close to perfection as a game. Then, it takes you from those soaring heights to the bottomless pit of despair when there is a difficult level to pass. The problem is, there’s no randomness worked into it. On some of the free-floating levels, if you start out with a slightly smaller bubble just out of reach, to reach which you need to expend an amount of yourself that will result in your no longer being larger, that’s it. You’re screwed. The level will never begin even slightly differently. You have one chance. My blood pressure, after trying this level over and over again for ten minutes, is too high to continue. For my own safety, I am deleting the app. I like the game enough to watch for future improvements. But for now, it’s not worth playing.

Still Playing in 2022
I am still playing this game in 2022, I only paid $.99, I turn up the speed to fastest play I can play it,much more difficult, I wish they would develop osmos 2 or the next level, visualing stunning. Sometimes it feels like the game is alive, I even feel sorry for them when I have to take them out. I let them live as long as I can…Please make a new one I’ll be your first to play it, even beta test. Don’t charge a subscription service, I boycott those games. People would be flocking to it!
John Geffre,
excellent game, no ads
I really love this game. I've had it for 24 hours and have played it for 16 of those hours. If I didn't have to sleep I would have played it for 24 hours! Realistic physics interaction. There are no flaws. Beautiful trance-like music. Gorgeous graphics. I need 100 more games just like this one. There are about 30 levels and none of them are frustratingly hard. About 5 levels are kind of challenging. And EVERY level is a joy. Bravo to the developer.

chill
super chill game. i bought this years ago and bought it again when i got a new phone. never had a single crash, lag or any other issue. honestly i read some other recent reviews about being stuck on levels.. some of them are difficult, but none are impossible. this isn’t a game to fly through every level on the first, or even third try sometimes. it is challenging but not challenging enough to make you feel defeated. well worth the small price they charge for the chill soundtrack and great graphics. not many games can still look and run seamlessly years later but this game stands the time. my only note is that i would love to see some new levels added! well done devs. keep it up!
Peli-Osnack,
One of the most thought provoking games of all time
Great game. Very cool concepts and graphics. I just with the multiplayer experience was a bit better. Seems to get a bit buggy. Other than that, probably one of most sophisticated yet simple games out there.
Also, would love to see a “relax” mode—Like ambient but with a world that has no borders, and a bit harder to die in. 🙏🏻👍🏻
Killer_N,
Awesome game
Really fun game and was entirely worth it when I bought it for $4. It's similar to katamari damacy with some interesting twists. Multiplayer is fun although sadly they removed the ability to match up with friends, that said it usually works if you both seek a game at the same time. Additionally if you're in the same room you can also play multiplayer.
Mikaylajayy,
This game was amazing years ago.
I remember beating this game when it first came out.
Now, I absolutely hate this game.
Idk if they updated it or what, but I don’t remember having to choose between being right zoomed up on the orb, or sacrificing the quality and fine detail to see the bigger picture.
I remember being able to scale and kind of pick where your zoom could go to an extent. None of that. You’re either tightly zoomed, or if zoomed out a bit not focused on where you need to be, cannot scale the screen and see what you need to see you’re fully zoomed out.

Completely bogus.

I used to play this game right before going to sleep because it was so relaxing.
I decided tonight to play again, and- yeah. No enjoyable at all just because of the zooming experience.

What’s the point of the zoom in/out if I can’t fully see what I need to avoid because I’m zoomed too close or I can’t see where I’m going because I’m zoomed too far?!
Steve from PDX,
A favorite - Both relaxing and challenging
A great game that provides relaxing, ambient escape, while also giving a challenge to complete each level. Amazing game dynamic of propelling yourself by squirting away some of your mass, while needing to get big by absorbing smaller creatures and not getting absorbed yourself.

I really wish they would create an expansion.
