From the makers of the top-selling app Dexteria, P.O.V. challenges and develops spatial reasoning skills in kids and adults.

Spatial reasoning skills are the foundation of many important developmental and cognitive skills, including:

• Knowing left from right

• Understanding abstract math concepts such as shape and space

• Succeeding on standardized tests in elementary and high school

• Geometry skills

• Map reading and navigation skills

• Visual reasoning

• Verbal and non-verbal reasoning

• Geography skills

• Having a strong sense of space and time

P.O.V. is a set of 3 activities designed to teach spatial reasoning skills through fun, challenging, interactive activities.

1)Intro & Explore- Learn about the game mechanics and 4 different points of view.

2)Vantage Point - See a top view and side view of objects and choose the matching side view.

3)Make a Scene - Move the top view objects to match the side view.

Players must think their way through the activities, which get increasingly difficult as each level is mastered. Players are timed and are challenged to continually improve on their best times.

P.O.V. is designed for ages 6 and up.

For best results the exercises should be done on a regular basis. The activities are designed to be repeatable and engaging.

The automatic tracking and reporting feature makes it easy for parents, teachers and therapists to identify time on task and progress. You can email the progress reports right from the app itself.

App Features:
• Unique interactive-viewpoint approach to developing spatial reasoning skills
• Easy to use, fun to play
• Based on sound educational principles and adapted for interactive media
• Runs on all iPads
• Randomized game play ensures kids won’t get bored
• Automatically generates usage reports
• Reports can be emailed to parents, teachers, therapists

OneAppyMama,
Great app
I love that this explains to you how this is done. I've often wondered and to see it on an iPad explained it visually to me. I found that even with that I had trouble with my spatial reasoning and I'll be taking this with me at my neuro appointment. I enjoyed how it would tell you (in a way that was not frustrating) when you were incorrect. When correct applause and when a level was completed. I'd like to see more details on the reports if that would be possible as opposed to just my percentage and score. To me that would be beneficial whether myself, my kids or my mother who is recovering from a stroke. I had difficulty with the create a room section but again that seems to be related to my spatial reasoning. All in all I feel it's another great app from Binary Labs.
Long words,
Yes it's awesome.
It is awesome I just wish for more levels or more exercises.
Gslaughterhouse,
Not updates
This app needs to be updated in order to run on iOS 11. I can no longer use it.
DJ on Demand,
Wow!
Holy Batman! I swear, yell and go back to working on here. I love this!

Brain Work!
Talk about a brain teaser! For a child or an adult, such as myself, who is not a visual spatial learner this app is very challenging. I can definitely see the benefit of this app in a clinical or classroom setting working specifically with children who have spatial deficits. I would recommend that if this app is being used with younger children that the adult be nearby to explain why the object appears larger, smaller or moves in the each direction. My learning curve was fairly steep on this one and I really had to ask myself which camera, which direction and work through how I was going to manipulate the objects. A child may need support to work through that process. Overall, a great app.

Great Idea for an App!!
I was really taken aback by POV. I thought it would be simple, but honestly, I really had to think hard about where the shapes were in the app to see what the shot would look like. I think it's an excellent way to teach logic and really stretch parts of the brain that seem to be looked over. I also thought it would be an excellent tool with elderly patients suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's. My grandmother has dementia, but does very well with puzzles. I think I will take my iPad over and see what she thinks of it. I think this is a great app, easy to use, I like the colors, and the strain it put on my brain. Definitely worth buying. ;)
Joseph Harris,
A unique and clever app
With most educational apps, you've got many choices that all teach the same skills or concepts. This if the first app I've come across that teaches this sort of spatial reasoning. I even found it fun and a little bit challenging to play myself.

My only complaint is that the camera view distance perspective is not right. The size of the shapes should change more as they move closer to or further from the camera.

This is a great app, and the price is very reasonable considering how unique it is.

Really gets the mind working!
This app is great for kids AND adults who need to keep their minds sharp. It is an excellent spacial recognition learning tool, but is also excellent for those like my grandmother who need to keep up with activities that get her mind working.
The voice and directions on this app is very clear, and while it is a fairly simple app is done in wonderful graphics.
It really gets who ever is using the app to think outside of the box, and change their perception of the object they are looking at.

Challenging, but not too frustrating!
This app is great for those who struggle with spatial reasoning. It is challenging enough for older users but, with the ability to correct for incorrect answers with no loud, annoying buzzers or other disruptive sounds, it is friendly for the younger and/or developmentally delayed user. Clear instructions, simple graphics, progress reports and no social media links all add up to make this app a winner!

Great For Visual/Spatial Reasoning!
If you want to improve your visual/spatial reasoning skills, this app wil definitely help you do so! It challenges you to create matching spatial orientations, be able to see correct spatial views, and be able to know the proper view of objects through a camera lense. It is also great for fine motor skills as it requires a lot of pointing and movement of objects. Thinking skills will definitely be improved as well by using this app! Good job, Dexteria!
