The Pedalboard Planner App allows you to build your dream Pedaltrain pedal board. It's free and easy to use.

To begin:

1) Rotate your device to landscape mode.

2) Tap the wrench icon to reveal the main menu

- "Add Pedal" allows you to add one of more than 2000 different models from 200 different brands. More pedals are added all the time.
- "Switch Board" enables you to swap the Pedaltrain model you are building on.
- "Hook Loop Love Color" changes the underlying color of the hook-and-loop.

3) Once a pedal has been added to your plan, simply drag it to the desired location.

4) Tap the pedal to reveal options to rotate the pedal, save it to your favorites, or remove it from your Pedaltrain plan.

5) You will find menus in the top right header section to: save your plan as an image, get help, save favorites, create and load saved plans, etc.

Usually never leave reviews but c’mon!

I don’t know what happened but nothing is loading for me (iOS 16.2) all the boards are gone and pedal dont even appear currently. I uninstalled and back again and as mentioned in the beginning, nothing is loading anymore. Stuck in the boot load logo.

Can my greedy self ask for some more?

This is the best app for pedalboard planning imo, since it has the most pedals. However would there be a way to add pedals that aren't in the app? There are still a lot you can add. How does the process work?
Also the app doesn't load currently for me..this happened when the last update came, and I had to reinstall it but it doesn't keep all the data. It would be pleasant if you could fix this bug!

Really?! Doesn’t work with iOS 16.2???

Phone auto updated, the app no longer works. Just sits in the loading screen. I left it plugged into the charger with the load screen up for six minutes. Deleted the app. Reinstalled the app. Sat in loading screen for six minutes again. Deleted the app a second time. Reinstalled the app again. Sat in loading screen for six minutes. Six minutes is the duration before I have my display sleep when idle. App was great when it used to work, won’t be coming back. Pencil and paper isn’t that big a hassle. And no one will be updating pencil and paper for users only to find it no longer works. Disappointing.

Great but I have a few suggestions.

This is a very useful tool but may I suggest a few things… We need a way to make custom size pedals or a way to submit a new pedal.
We need a way to contact someone about a new pedal. There are still a bunch of people using older boards, it would be nice if the older boards were available to choose from. And another thing on custom pedals, it would be nice to select a box size and submit a pic. Thanks

Great App

I’ve been using this app for a year and love it. This app has really helped me creating my various pedalboards. I’ve spent hours seamlessly crafting board after board just enjoying the possibilities. My boards were gone after an update, but the app is so easy to use it was simple and fun to make them again. 5/5.

Used to be decent

They updated the app, which deleted all of my saved boards. I used this with purpose and it saved me time so I was genuinely aggravated by it but I figured since it wasn’t a constant thing I’d just shut up and get back to it. However, now nothing saves correctly and the app is essentially useless unless you’re going to use it and be ok with it not saving anything. Maybe Temple Audio will make an app? I prefer their boards anyways.

They made it worse!

All your saved boards are gone. When you hit the wrench icon you go to a screen with four untitled options. You can quickly figure out which is which but they had names before. Why take them away. The share option didn’t work before. It still doesn’t. But at least they didn’t make that worse.

Cool, but not functional at present

Liked the updated selection, but can no longer save a pedalboard. Able to open old, but unable to save any changes/modifications.

This update needs fixed, app is nearly unusable now.

Title says it all. Saved boards are gone, buttons are missing labels/icons, share button hasn’t worked on iPad for a while now. This update didn’t fix or improve anything, but definitely made it much worse.

Lost all my boards

I’ve used this app for forever and I had a bunch of saved boards, some I was still actively working on. I downloaded the new update and all of them are gone. Terrible…
